Air leaf stripping system and agricultural machine equipped with such system
An air leaf stripping system and an agricultural machine equipped with such system. The system is used in viticulture for stripping leaves from vinestocks. The system can be mounted on a tractor and includes adjustment mechanism consisting of a rotary joint and coupling for rotating a housing and includes an arm that has a main longitudinal axis and includes the supply line and an attachment part intended to be mounted on the agricultural machine directly or via a frame. The supply line-is guided along the attachment part and connected to the leaf stripping members through a junction in the housing via the rotary joint. The rotating member being arranged so that the housing can be rotated about a first axis passing through the junction and substantially perpendicular to the main longitudinal axis of the arm, between at least two separate angular positions relative to the first axis.

Systems and methods for removing defective seeds and plants in a grow pod
A system for removing seeds includes a track, one or more carts moveably disposed on the track, one or more sensors, a removing device, and a controller. The controller includes one or more processors, one or more memory modules, and machine readable instructions stored in the one or more memory modules that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the controller to determine a location of one or more of one or more contaminated seeds and one or more contaminated plants on the one or more carts based on information received from the one or more sensors and instruct the removing device to remove one or more of the one or more contaminated seeds and the one or more contaminated plants based on the location.
The system can be mounted on a tractor and includes adjustment means consisting of a rotary joint and means for rotating a housing and includes an arm that has a main longitudinal axis and includes the supply line and an attachment part intended to be mounted on the agricultural machine directly or via a frame. The supply line-is guided along the attachment part and connected to the leaf stripping means through a junction in the housing via the rotary joint. The rotating means being arranged so that the housing can be rotated about a first axis passing through the junction and substantially perpendicular to the main longitudinal axis of the arm, between at least two separate angular positions relative to the first axis.
Defoliator
A defoliator having a frame suitable for mounting to a vehicle supports an elongated main support arm which extends substantially horizontally, and which has a tine-bearing main shaft which rotates to have the tines knock at least some leaves (or portions thereof) from plants beneath. The main support arm rides on wheels, and may pivot and vertically translate with respect to the frame such that the main support arm (and the tined main shaft) will generally follow the elevation and contour of the ground beneath. To defoliate greater areas, one or both ends of the main shaft may be connected to a boom arm hearing a rotating tined arm shaft, which extends the effective length of the main support arm and tined main shaft. The boom arms are preferably capable of folding rearwardly to reduce the effective size of the defoliator for easier transport.

ROTARY REDUCING COMPONENT
A material reducing apparatus includes a rotary reducing component that has a central rotational axis. The material reducing apparatus includes a reducing element mount attached to the rotary reducing component and a reversible reducing element mounted to the reducing element mount. The reducing element includes a leading front side that has a first cutting edge and an opposite second cutting edge being radially inwardly positioned closer to the central rotational axis from the first cutting edge. The reducing element has a chip curl angle between about 79 degrees and 102 degrees. The reducing element has a radial height extending away from the rotary reducing component. The material reducing apparatus includes at least one chip evacuation arrangement that includes three depth control structures. The depth control structures that are axially adjacent the reducing element have radial heights less than or equal to 25% of the radial height of the reducing element.
