20230050676 · 2023-02-16 ·

A drawbar support assembly for adjustably supporting a drawbar of an agricultural vehicle includes a support member fixable relative to a frame of the agricultural vehicle. The support member has first and second support flanges laterally spaced apart, each flange defining flange holes longitudinally spaced apart from each other. The support assembly further includes a drawbar hanger having a bar support portion and a saddle portion. The bar support portion extends between first and second lateral ends and defines a first bar support hole proximate the first lateral end and a second bar support hole proximate the second lateral end. The saddle portion is fixed to the bar support portion such that an opening is formed for receiving the drawbar. The drawbar hanger is selectively positionable relative to the support flanges along the longitudinal direction such that the bar support holes are aligned with respective ones of the flange holes.

Auto-positioning camera for drawn implements

A drawn agricultural implement includes a main frame and a plurality of ground engaging units supporting the main frame from a ground surface. A working unit is supported from the main frame and configured to engage crops as the implement moves in a forward direction across the ground surface. A draft tongue extends from the main frame for attachment to a tractor. A camera having a field of view is mounted on at least one of the draft tongue, the main frame and the working unit. The camera is movable relative to the at least one of the draft tongue, the main frame and the working unit to reposition the field of view.

Management and display of object-collection data

An object identification and collection method is disclosed. The method includes receiving a pick-up path that identifies a route in which to guide an object-collection system over a target geographical area to pick up objects, determining a current location of the object-collection system relative to the pick-up path, and guiding the object-collection system along the pick-up path over the target geographical area based on the current location. The method further includes capturing images in a direction of movement of the object-collection system along the pick-up path, identifying a target object in the images; tracking movement of the target object through the images, determining that the target object is within range of an object picker assembly on the object-collection system based on the tracked movement of the target object, and instructing the object picker assembly to pick up the target object.

Self-Propelled Agricultural Work Machine
20230010916 · 2023-01-12 ·

A self-propelled agricultural work machine comprising: an energy source; a ground engaging element configured with a drive train, the ground engaging element further configured to be driven in a normal operating mode by at least one of the energy source and drive train; a carrying frame supported on the ground engaging element; and a control unit in communication with an actuator associated with the agricultural work machine and the ground engaging element, the control unit configured to transmit signals so as to specify a steering angle of the ground engaging element and, in the event of a failure of at least one of the energy source or the drive train, the control unit configured to operate in a towing mode in which the control unit controls the actuator based on the signals from a sensor so as to detect the angle between a tow bar, a towing vehicle and the agricultural work machine that is being towed by the towing vehicle.

Equal angle hitch

One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a hitch system that couples a vehicle to an implement powered by the vehicle using a driveshaft supplying power from a power output to the implement. The hitch system comprises a front portion and rear portion, with a mid-yaw pivot coupling the front and rear portions. The front portion couples to a drawbar engaged with the vehicle, and the rear portion couples with the implement. The mid-yaw pivot can be disposed substantially equidistant from a power output of the vehicle and a power input to the implement. This arrangement can provide, during operation, for the angle between the power output and driveshaft to be substantially equal to the angle between the power input and driveshaft. This may provide for improved performance in the implement, including reduced vibration, lower weight, and less maintenance.
