THREE-POINT HITCH WITH ATTACHABLE IMPLEMENT-ACTUATORS
20220400600 · 2022-12-22 ·

The present invention relates to mobile machinery such as an agricultural tractor comprising a three-point hitch for the connection and use of working implements cultivating or excavating the earth and other duties involved in the industry of farming or grading excavation. The disclosed invention modifies and improves the conventional three-point hitch in use today. The disclosed invention modifies the three-point hitch by adding extending and retracting implement-actuators attachable to the existing bottom-lift-arms, therefore supplanting, but still using the existing bottom-lift-arms on the three-point hitch. The implement-actuators assist the implement in correcting the implements centerline when the tractor centerline is off a predetermined centerline path. In addition, the extending of the implement-actuators proportionally, inversely and simultaneously can correct the pivot point of the implement to match the pivot point of the tractor while the tractor performs turns during the working use of the implement.

AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENTS HAVING ROW UNITS WITH ROTATING SUPPORTS

An agricultural implement includes a frame carrying a toolbar, and row units coupled to the toolbar. Each row unit includes a tool support and a rotating support coupled to the tool support and configured to rotate about an axis of rotation. Ground-engaging tools are carried by the rotating support and extending outward from the axis of rotation. Rotation of the rotating support about the axis of rotation moves the ground-engaging tools around the rotating support to change which of the ground-engaging tools interacts with the ground. A method of adjusting the agricultural implement includes disengaging the row units from a ground surface, rotating at least one rotating support about a corresponding axis of rotation to move the ground-engaging tools around the rotating support, and re-engaging the row units with the ground surface.

Width adjustable ripper assembly

A ripper assembly for a machine includes a main ripper unit and at least one auxiliary ripper unit. The main ripper unit is adapted to be coupled to a frame of the machine and is moveable relative to the frame along a height of the machine. The main ripper unit includes a main ripper. The auxiliary ripper unit is pivotably coupled to the main ripper unit, and is pivotable infinitely between a first position and a second position with respect to the main ripper unit. A distance between the main ripper unit and the auxiliary ripper unit, defined laterally in relation to a direction of travel of the machine, varies as the auxiliary ripper unit pivots from the first position to the second position.

System for controlling a working implement connected to a vehicle
11470759 · 2022-10-18 · ·

A system for controlling a working implement connected to a vehicle, the system comprising: at least one tool mounted on the working implement, the implement and the at least one tool configured to perform an agricultural operation; an automatic steering device associated with the vehicle, the automatic steering device configured to guide the vehicle on an intended vehicle path; an actuator for controlling the lateral position of the working implement relative to the vehicle, the actuator connected to an implement control unit that can be operated to control the actuator in such a way that the working implement is moved on an intended path of the working implement and the implement control unit is set up to compensate a lateral deviation of the vehicle from the intended path of the vehicle through actuation of the actuator; and wherein the implement control unit is programmed to pre-set the actuator after a turning operation in a position in which the effects of the turning operation is compensated.

IMPLEMENT CONTROL

Systems and methods are provided for controlling operation of an agricultural vehicle-implement combination. An orientation of the vehicle, the implement and/or the vehicle-implement combination is used to determine whether an adjustment in a lateral position of the implement is required. An actuator mechanism is provided for controlling the lateral position of the implement in accordance with any determined adjustment.

SYSTEM FOR CONNECTING IMPLEMENT TO MOBILE MACHINERY
20170290258 · 2017-10-12 ·

An apparatus for connecting an implement to a three point hitch of mobile machinery comprises two frameworks, a first framework and a second framework. The first framework is disposed in a first plane and comprises at least two parallel, vertically-spaced apart, laterally extending rails. There are three attachments supported by the first framework for attachment to the three-point hitch. The second framework is slidable generally in the plane of the first framework and is mounted on the rails to slide laterally along the rails. At least two connectors are supported by the slidable second framework for connecting the second framework to an implement that can be pulled or pushed by the mobile machinery. A driver is connected to the first framework and connected to the second framework for driving the second framework laterally back and forth along the rails of the first framework.
