An implement frame having a carriage frame for coupling to a towing vehicle and wheels to support the frame for movement over a ground surface. A pivot frame is rotationally mounted to the carriage frame and a lift assembly is coupled to the pivot frame via a shift assembly. A tool bar is mounted to the lift assembly. The shift assembly moves the tool bar forward as it is moved from the field use position to the transport position. The wheels are mounted to swing arms to move the wheels inward for a narrow transport position. All motion is accomplished through actuators, such as hydraulic cylinders, to automate the process making it quick and easy.

An agricultural machine has a symmetrical chassis hydraulically transformable between a folded transport configuration and two unfolded configurations, using articulated beams. An air seeder example has a primary beam linking a tractor to a hopper-carrying trailer, also locating the chassis. Machinery such as seed openers is held in frames pivoted from the tertiary beams. In all configurations except completely folded, lateral chains that are maintained tight with a hydraulically powered tensioning system having sideways compliance maintain the tertiary beams and frame-supported machinery in a symmetrical configuration to each side of the primary beam, when working.

An agricultural rock collection and rock rowing machine and method is disclosed for collecting rocks in fields and then for dumping these rocks in a row for easier pickup or for storage. The machine includes one or more rock collectors for receiving rocks along with soil, smaller rocks and field debris that may accompany the rocks, and for screening out soil, field debris and smaller rocks that are small enough to pass through gaps between the grates of the rock collectors. The machine also includes rock lifter plates that assist the lifting of rocks from the field up onto the rock collectors for screening and collection. A further embodiment of the machine includes a rock collector unloader mechanism for raising the rock collectors thereby unloading the collected rocks roughly in rows. These rows may be formed off the field, or picked up more easily by hand or with a conventional row-collecting rock picker, and then removed from the field. The rock collector unloader mechanism may be attached to a trailer frame portion of the machine, the trailer frame serving to pull the rock collectors when the trailer frame is attached to a tractor or suitable pulling machine.

The farm implement having a wing having a wing frame extending from a center end to an outer end. The fold gate can be rotatable between a transport position in which the fold gate is parallel to the main carrier and a field position in which the fold gate is parallel to the main carrier. Rotating the fold gate into the transport position can pivot the wing about the inner wing tow bar into a parallel orientation relative to the frame member. Rotating the fold gate into the field position can pivots the wing about the inner wing tow bar into a transverse orientation relative to the frame member.

The dolly is coupled to the gauge wheel arm such that the dolly is carried by the gauge wheel arm between the transport position and the working position and is swivelable about a swivel axis extending through the gauge wheel arm when the gauge wheel arm is in the transport position.

The draper header further includes a cutterbar pivotally coupled to the draper frame. The reel arm and the cutterbar are configured to pivot about the draper frame to adjust a side profile aspect ratio of the draper header from a first aspect ratio to a second aspect ratio. A height of the first aspect ratio is less than a height of the second aspect ratio, and a width of the first aspect ratio is greater than a width of the second aspect ratio.

A header including a cutter bar configured to cut crop for harvesting and a header frame supporting the cutter bar. A transport assembly is operatively connected to the header frame. A support arm is rotatably coupled to an axle of the transport assembly and is pivotably coupled to a mounting frame coupled to the header frame. A cam linkage is disposed at the support arm to provide a mechanical advantage for an operator when moving the transport assembly from a transport position to a harvest position. The cam linkage includes a lift assist device having a first end connected to the mounting frame and a second end coupled to a cam arm. Extension of the second end from the first end of the lift assist device applies the cam arm to a cam surface of the support arm to move the transport assembly to the harvest position.

AGRICULTURAL TOOL BAR SYSTEM

A tool bar system is provided that is configured and arranged with weight distribution that inhibits the tool bar system from applying lifting forces to the rear hitch of the tractor that is pulling the tool bar. In one or more embodiments, the toolbar system includes a frame, lift wheels, a tool mount bar assembly having one or more forward sections and one or more rearward sections. The rearward sections are positioned rearward of lift wheels. Forward sections are positioned closer to the front of the tool bar system than the rearward sections, thereby reducing lifting forces at the front end of the tool bar system.

Laterally offset transport wheels on harvesting header

A transport system for a harvesting header including at least one dolly wheel being laterally shifted towards the main header frame with an acute angle relative to an elongate tongue where the acute angle allows the centerline of the harvesting header to travel essentially colinear with the centerline of the towing vehicle. The transport system may be further provided with gauge wheels being repositionable for use as a trailing wheel assembly and/or the at least one dolly wheel.

Counter spring latch mechanism and agricultural machine

A latch mechanism is used with agricultural equipment, such as a mower, for securing the header of the mower to the tongue during transport. A pivoting catch is mounted on the trail frame on which the header is mounted. A receiver for the catch is mounted on the tongue. During mower transport the catch is biased into engagement with the receiver by a first spring and secures the header to the tongue in a parallel orientation. When the mower configuration is changed to operational mode the catch is disengaged from the receiver using a second spring attached to the catch. A cable attaches the second spring to a wheel arm of a field wheel. Deployment of the field wheel into the operation mode draws the cable and second spring into tension, overcoming the biasing force of the first spring and pivoting the catch out of engagement with the receiver.
