Apparatus and method for separating out grains of seed, fertilizer or the like
An apparatus for separating grains of seed or fertilizer includes a separating device having a housing with a housing base for mounting on an agricultural machine. A releasable housing cover is arranged on the housing base in a releasable manner. A grain sump receives the grains introduced into the housing interior to be separated out. A rotatable separating disc having openings is positioned in the housing interior. An overpressure region is formable in the housing cover on a front side of the separating disc during operation, such that a flow can form from the overpressure region through the openings to the rear side of the disc and grains separated can be localized near the openings. A grain transfer device includes a feed, a wall bushing and an outlet, wherein the separated grains can be introduced through the feed into the bushing and discharged from the housing interior through the bushing.

System and method for regulating and dispensing seeds, fertilizer, and other items
A system and method for regulating dispensation of seeds, fertilizer or other items. The system comprises a hopper, at least first and second movable metering plates, and an agitator assembly. Movement of the first and second movable metering plates in first and second directions, respectively, that are opposite one another increases a size of a plurality of output holes defined by interleaved portions of the metering plates, whereas movement of the first and second movable metering plates in the second and first directions, respectively, decreases the size of the output holes. An adjustable control handle can be moved to simultaneously move the first and second movable metering plates to adjust the size of the output holes. Each agitator remains in alignment with a center of a respective output hole regardless of a decrease or increase in the size of the output holes, resulting in more efficient dispensation.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HANDLING FLUID FOR APPLICATION TO AGRICULTURAL FIELDS
A fluid dispensing apparatus includes a container defining an interior space for holding a fluid. The container is configured to separate the fluid into a liquid and a vapor such that at least a portion of the vapor is disposed above the liquid. The container includes a sidewall and a top wall connected to the sidewall. A fluid inlet and a fluid outlet are disposed in the sidewall. A plurality of vapor valves are releasably connected to the top wall. The top wall includes a plurality of recesses and a plurality of passageways connecting the plurality of recesses to at least one outlet in the top wall. Each of the plurality of vapor valves is disposed within one of the plurality of recesses, and the plurality of vapor valves is configured to regulate the flow of fluid through the plurality of passageways and exhaust vapor disposed above the liquid.
Tilting Plant Shade and Selective Fertilizer Distribution Device
A device having a fertilizer base that is configured to be operable for distributing fertilizer to a surrounding soil. A collapsible or retractable umbrella is into engagement with the fertilizer base, wherein the umbrella is configured to provide shade for the plant. A bottom portion of a shaft section engages the fertilizer base and a top portion of the collapsible or retractable umbrella. The shaft section includes a tilting shaft that is operable to be tilted to provide partial or full shade to the plant proximal to the fertilizer base according to a sun's orientation or the plant's required amount of sunlight. An adapter coupling is configured to facilitate the engagement or separation of the shaft section with the fertilizer base and allow a user to add fertilizer to the cartridge area without uninstalling the device.
