Dry Product Spreader

A dry product spreader is provided that includes a bin that includes a bin discharge opening. The dry product spreader further includes a conveyor located at the bottom of the bin. The conveyor is capable of discharging dry product material from the bin through the bin discharge opening. The dry product spreader further includes a spinner assembly for spreading the dry product material and positioned to receive the dry product material from the bin discharge opening. The dry product spreader further includes a material conveyance system to displace dry product material received through the bin discharge opening before the dry product material reaches the spinner assembly. The dry product spreader further includes a distribution manifold configured to receive dry product material displaced by the material conveyance system. The distribution manifold is configured to return dry product material displaced by the material conveyance system to be spread by the spinner assembly.

APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR DISPENSING AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS

An apparatus and methods for delivering a particulate product onto a soil surface proximate adjacently spaced crop rows. The apparatus includes a plurality of drop members supported by and spaced laterally along a boom structure such that each drop member is positioned between two adjacently spaced crop rows. The drop member extends downwardly from the boom structure toward the soil surface. The drop member supports a hopper which receives a quantity of particulate product. Diverging particulate product passageways supported from a lower portion of the drop member deliver the particulate product from the hoppers onto the soil surface adjacent the two adjacently spaced crop rows. In alternative embodiments, the drop members may also support liquid passageways for delivering liquid product to the soil surface with the particulate product and the drop members may support spray assemblies for spraying plants in the adjacent crop rows.

SECTIONAL CONTROL FOR AIR BOOM SPREADER

A product distribution system for sectional control in an air boom spreader has a solid product metering assembly having: a first endless conveyor and a second endless conveyor for conveying the product from the container to the air system, the first and second endless conveyors substantially parallel to each other, the first conveyor driven independently of the second conveyor; and, a first shaft, a second shaft and a third shaft, the first shaft parallel to, separated from and driven independently of the second shaft, the second shaft parallel to and separated from the third shaft, the first shaft driving the first conveyor, the second shaft driving the third shaft to drive the second conveyor.

ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED FOR AUTOMATIC PROTECTION AGAINST OPERATIONAL FAILURES IN AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT FOR MIXTURE AND/OR DISTRIBUTION OF A SOLID PRODUCT, HAVING VARIABLE GRANULOMETRY OF THE MIXER TYPE IMPLEMENT AND/OR DISTRIBUTOR
20220174862 · 2022-06-09 ·

The present invention belongs to the field of machines and agricultural implements, more concretely agricultural implements for the mixture and/or distribution of a solid product having variable granulometry, such as, for example, silage, crumbs, clusters, in powder, among others, such as feedstuff and mineral supplements. Moreover, the present invention brings as main advantage, relative to the implements known to the state of the art, the fact that it has a torque limiting means over the movable parts, such as helical pitch threads, augers and/or beater arms, so that there is no overload in the hydraulic system of the implement that is operatively associated to the tractor unit. Further, the invention in question counts on a protection means, with paralyzation and partial reversal and/or rotation reducer, in an independent and/or synchronized form, of the movable parts, in case the hydraulic circuit of the implement detects a pressure that is over the preestablished value, avoiding damages and unscheduled stops of the implement.
