Root crop harvester
A potato harvesting machine has a lifting device picking up a mixture of crop and admixtures. Screening belts downstream of the lifting device transport the mixture away from the lifting device and a feed belt feeds the mixture to a sorting zone. A separating device is arranged in the sorting zone above the feed belt. A sorting belt is arranged downstream of the separating device that has first and second stripper belts circulating in a stripping direction and provided with stripper elements. The stripper elements act on the crop transverse to a feed direction and supply the crop to the sorting belt. The admixtures remain on the feed belt and are discharged in a guiding direction angled to the stripping direction. First and second support devices hold the first and second stripper belts. The first and second stripper belts are individually adjustable at the first and second support devices.
Root crop harvester
The invention relates to a root crop harvester in the form of a potato harvester (1), comprising a lifting device (2), from which a crop material (E) and also a mixture (G) comprising clods, weeds and similar admixtures (B) can be displaced in the region of screen belts (3) which are arranged downstream thereof. According to the invention, the mixture (G) lying on one of the feed belts (4) reaches a sorting zone, where the crop material (E) is sorted by means of a separating device (6) that is arranged above the feed belt (4) and is acting on the mixture (G) transversely to the direction of feed of the feed belt, in such a manner that two scraper belts (8, 9), which are circulating in the same direction in a scraping direction (7, 7′), capture the crop material (E) by means of respective scraper elements (10, 10; 11, 11′), and feed said crop material in two adjacently arranged scraping planes (12, 13) to a sorting belt (14) that is arranged downstream thereof. Admixtures (B) that remain on the feed belt (4) can be discharged in a discharge direction (5′), which is preferably offset by about 90° from the scraping direction (7, 7′), wherein the two scraper belts (8′, 9′) are in each case individually adjustable in the region of at least one of the supporting devices (17, 18) which hold in each case said scraper belts.
FOLDING REAR CROSS SYSTEM
A folding rear cross system for a harvesting device having a harvesting direction and a discharge includes first and second substantially linearly aligned reversible endless belt sections, positioned near the discharge and oriented transverse to the harvesting direction. Each belt section has an inboard end disposed in overlapping relationship with the inboard end of the other. A lifting device is attached to selectively lift and lower the first and second reversible endless belt sections to reverse the overlapping relationship

At least one of the stripper belts has a discharge section with an incline smaller than 55° relative to the stripper plane and has in sections a non-round contour and a constant incline.
RING ELEVATOR FOR LIFTING ROOT CROPS IN A ROOT CROP HARVESTER AND ROOT CROP HARVESTER COMPRISING SUCH A RING ELEVATOR
The invention relates to a ring elevator (2) for lifting root crops (8) in a root crop harvester (1), comprising: a first and a second pair of endless carrying strips (3, 4), each pair arranged in parallel and drivable over a closed path; first and second parallel transverse elements (5) attached between and to respectively the first and second strips (3, 4); flexible support elements (7), each attached to a first transverse element (5) and to a second transverse element (6);
the first strips (3) being arranged around the second strips (4), at a distance, which, varies along the paths between a minimum distance (d.sub.min) and a maximum distance (d.sub.max), and in an ascending part (32) equals a carrier distance (c), such that the flexible support elements (7) form baskets for receiving the root crops (8), wherein the useful volume (V.sub.u) in the baskets (7) takes up at least 50% of the total volume (V.sub.t) delimited by the transverse elements (5, 6).
Pick-up web for an agricultural machine, in particular, a nut harvester
A pick-up web for an agricultural machine, in particular, for picking up and transporting nut fruit in a nut harvester along a conveyor device. The pick-up web comprising at least two endless circulating belts for driving the pick-up web and several rods extending perpendicular to the direction of transport of the pick-up web creating a sieve-type transport surface. The pick-up web further comprising several tappets and sweeping teeth each projecting perpendicularly away from the sieve-type transport surface.
