An adjusting device 1 of a cutting device has a mounting element 3 which is provided with a first through bore 7 through which a first shaft 9 projects. This first shaft 9 is provided at one end 9a with a rotary adjusting knob 13 and is provided with a second bore 15 which extends over the entire length of the first shaft 9 and is provided with internal screw thread over its entire length. The adjusting device 1 furthermore has an elongate coupling element 19 which can be connected to a device part to be adjusted. This coupling element 19 is provided with a second shaft 21 with an external screw thread, which is turned into the first shaft 9. When the adjusting knob 13 is turned, the second shaft 21 is displaced in the longitudinal direction. The second shaft can be rotated into the second bore 15 at both ends of the first shaft and can protrude from the first shaft at both ends.
SUGARCANE HARVESTER EXTRACTOR WITH LEAF SHREDDER
An extractor for a sugarcane harvester that chops stalks of sugarcane into billets. The extractor comprises a fan, a leaf shredder, and a hub. The fan comprises fan blades to induce a flow of air to separate leaves from billets. The leaf shredder comprises shredding blades to cut leaves prior to their ejection from the extractor. The hub is rotatably driven about an axis of rotation. The fan blades and the cutting blades are coupled to the hub for rotation together with the hub about the axis of rotation.
FORAGE HARVESTER
A chopper drum assembly for a forage harvester including a chopper drum housing, a shear bar, a shear bar holder and a wear plate assembly. The chopper drum housing includes a first part and a wear plate assembly support surface. The shear bar holder is pivotally connected at a first end to the first part of the chopper drum housing and fixedly connected to the shear bar at a second end. A first end of the wear plate assembly is pivotally connected to the second end of the shear bar holder adjacent the shear bar, and a second end of the wear plate assembly is supported by the wear plate assembly support surface wherein, the wear plate support surface is arranged to be inclined to the horizontal.
Agricultural Harvesting Vehicle
Harvesting vehicle, in particular forage harvester or combine harvester, comprising a mounting frame (10), wherein the mounting fame (10) is designed to couple an attachment to the mounting frame (10) and via the mounting frame (10) to the harvesting vehicle, and comprising a drive coupler (16) which engages with the mounting frame (10) and which is designed to form a drive connection between the attachment and the harvesting vehicle in order to transmit a drive power provided by the harvesting vehicle in the direction of the attachment, wherein the drive coupler (16) has a drive hub (17) which can be coupled to the harvesting vehicle, a coupling disk (19) which can be coupled to the attachment and a centering mandrel (22) which cooperates with the attachment, wherein the centering mandrel (22) is fixedly engaged with the coupling disk (19), a slide piece (24) which can be displaced in a translatory manner relative to the drive hub (17) is coupled fixedly in terms of rotation to the drive hub (17), and wherein the slide piece (24) is connected to the coupling disk (19) via universal joints (30, 31) such that the centering mandrel (22) can be displaced together with the coupling disk (19) and the slide piece (24) in a translatory manner relative to the drive hub (17).
CROP CUTTING DEVICE, AGRICULTURAL MACHINE COMPRISING SUCH CROP CUTTING DEVICE AND KNIFE REMOVAL METHOD
A crop cutting device including a crop guiding surface including parallel slots. A row of knives pivotally mounted below the guiding surface is pivotable between a retracted inoperative position in which it is located below the guiding surface and an extended operative position, wherein the knives project above the guiding surface. An actuating mechanism includes movable operating members. Each operating member is associated with a respective knife and is movable from a first position in which the knife is in its retracted position to a second position in which the knife is in its extended position. Further, there is included a lifting mechanism for raising at least a part of each knife above the guiding surface, while the operating members are in their first position.
Lawnmower mulch plug ramps to improve mulching performance
A lawnmower with a mulch plug with a plurality ramps for deflecting lawn clippings out of a cutting deck with more than one depth planes. The mulch plug is configured to attach to the lawnmower by one or more attachment points to block a collector opening of the lawnmower. The plurality of ramps comprises a first ramp and a second ramp on the lower plane of the cutting deck extending downward from the mulch plug. The second ramp is positioned further in the cutting rotation of the lawnmower on a trailing edge of the mulch plug. The secure attachment of the mulch plug with a plurality of ramps provides a more even distribution of grass clippings.
LAWN MOWER
A lawn mower includes a blade, a deck assembly, and a drive assembly. The deck assembly is formed with an accommodation cavity configured to at least partially accommodate the blade. The drive assembly includes a drive shaft configured to drive the blade to rotate about a rotation axis. The deck assembly includes a top wall, a side wall, and a protrusion. The top wall is formed with a through hole for the drive shaft to pass through. The side wall is connected to a periphery of the top wall. The protrusion portion is at least partially disposed on the side wall and protrudes from the side wall. A projection of the protrusion portion on a plane perpendicular to the rotation axis is at least partially located within a projection of a cutting region of the blade on the plane. The lawn mower has a strong grass-shredding capability.
