AGRICULTURAL APPARATUS
A towed agricultural implement including a support frame, with one end adapted for connection to a towing vehicle, a drive apparatus carried by the support frame, with one end of the drive adapted for connection to the towing vehicle, support arms carried from the support frame, where each of the support arms are moveable between a working position and a transport position, and each support arm includes at least one rotary rake adapted to be driven about a central rake axis, a drive arrangement connecting the rotary rake to the drive apparatus, and an intermediate drive element connecting the drive apparatus and the drive arrangement moveably supported from the support frame to ensure that a sufficient overall length is available for the displaceable arm drive arrangement in the transport position.
Agricultural implement having arms movable to headland positions
An agricultural implement having an elongated main chassis member, ground engaging wheels for supporting the main chassis member on the ground and at least one set of two arms, each arm being provided with at least one working implement and each arm being pivotably connected to the main chassis member and adapted to be moved between a working position, a headland position and a transport position. In the headland position, an inner working implement of the at least one set of arms is displaced laterally away from the main chassis member.
AGRICULTURAL TOOL CONTROL SYSTEM
An agricultural tool including an elongated frame, ground engaging wheels for supporting the frame, and at least two rotors carried by a respective arm. Each respective arm is moveable into a working position in which the rotors are carried on opposing sides of the frame at a distance away from the frame. Each rotor includes a hub provided with tines and each hub is supported above the ground by at least one support wheel. The tool further includes a control system which detects when the tool is moving around a bend and identifies which of the rotors is an inner rotor moving on the inside of the bend and raises the inner rotor to compensate for the downward force exerted on the inner rotor during the turn.
WORKING MACHINE AND WORKING DEVICE
A raking machine includes a traveling vehicle, a rake coupled to the traveling vehicle to rake grass in an agricultural field and form a swath, a sensor to obtain a state of the grass or the swath in the agricultural field, and a controller to change, when the rake performs raking, setting information regarding the rake based on the state obtained by the sensor.
AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT
An agricultural implement having an elongated main chassis member, ground engaging wheels for supporting the main chassis member on the ground and at least one set of two arms, each arm being provided with at least one working implement and each arm being pivotably connected to the main chassis member and adapted to be moved between a working position, a headland position and a transport position. In the headland position, an inner working implement of the at least one set of arms is displaced laterally away from the main chassis member. This has as an advantage that in the headland position, additional clearance between the tines at the lowermost end of each arm and the ground surface is provided.
Agricultural apparatus for forming from a previously-cut agricultural crop a windrow on a field and method thereof
An agricultural apparatus for forming from previously-cut agricultural crop, such as grass or the like, a windrow on a field, which may comprise: a frame, crop engaging elements supported on the frame and configured to form from previously-cut agricultural crop a windrow on a field, and a control unit configured to control operation of the crop engaging elements. The control unit is further configured to provide control signals to the crop engaging elements in such a way that, in a windrow forming mode of operation, the crop engaging elements are driven to engage with the previously-cut agricultural crop, and form from the previously-cut agricultural crop the windrow which may have a snake line form on the field. Further detailed is a method for forming from previously-cut agricultural crop, such as grass or the like, a windrow on a field.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR OPERATING AN AGRICULTURAL MACHINE
The invention relates to a method (100) for operating an agricultural machine (1, 201) on a useful agricultural area (4, 5), comprising a traction vehicle (2) and a working appliance combination (3, 203) connected to the traction vehicle (2) in the form of a mower and/or rake, the harvest goods being processed with a plurality of working devices (33a-33d, 233a-233c), which are arranged so as to project from a carrying frame (31, 231a-231b) transversely with respect to the direction of travel (F) of the working device combination (3, 203), wherein the working appliances (33a-33d, 233a-233c) can each be raised and lowered independently of one another in order to move the working appliances either into a headland position or into engagement with the harvest goods, characterized in that when processing by means of a preferably satellite-assisted navigation system (21), position data of the working device combination (3, 203) is acquired continuously and, from the same, at least one already processed field area (41, 51) is determined and recorded (112), and in that the working devices (33a-33d, 233a-233c) are each raised automatically (113) on the basis of their positions when reaching the at least one already processed field area (41, 15) again, and/or in that the working devices (33a-33d, 233a-233c) are each automatically lowered (114) on the basis of their positions when moving out of the at least one already processed field area (41, 51 into a field area (42, 52) that is still to be processed.
AGRICULTURAL APPARATUS FOR FORMING FROM A PREVIOUSLY-CUT AGRICULTURAL CROP A WINDROW ON A FIELD AND METHOD THEREOF
