RAKE MOUNTABLE TO A FRONT END LOADER
A rake having tine wheels has a coupler configured to attach to the front end loader of a vehicle, such as a tractor. The rake has a series a tine wheels and support elements extend generally forward and outward from the coupler with the tine wheels overlapping to move vegetation toward the center of the rake. The tine wheels and support elements are rotatably mounted around substantially horizontal axes directed generally in the direction of travel for the rake which allows the rake to adapt to terrain. The support elements may also rotate around additional axes that allow the support elements to raise and lower. Some embodiments of the rake have trailing arms with wheels to support the rake while deployed for use. These wheels trail the rake and keep the turning radius nearly the same as the vehicle.
Windrow merger with active weight transfer system
Windrow mergers employ one or more design features as described herein in connection with a suspension assembly that allows the pickup head to rise or fall relative to a frame of the merger. One feature maintains a substantially constant force or pressure between a pickup head of the merger and the terrain regardless of a height of the head. Another feature maintains a substantially constant hydraulic pressure in a hydraulic actuator that connects the pickup head to a frame assembly of the merger. Still another feature employs a hydraulic pump driven by a power takeoff (PTO) of the tractor to charge and discharge a hydraulic actuator arranged to raise and lower the pickup head of the merger between an upper limit and a lower limit.

Hay baler with windrow pickup diverter and extendible wheel rake mounting on elongated drawbar
Windrow diverting apparatus and method of controlling same proximate a roll baler pick-up which laterally shifts the windrow relative to the roll bale pick-up during baling.
METHOD FOR ADJUSTING HAYMAKING MACHINE INTO TRANSPORT POSITION
The invention relates to a method for adjusting a haymaking machine (1) into a transport position, which haymaking machine (1) has a main frame (2) and two side units (6) arranged to both sides on the main frame (2), each side unit having a boom (7), which in a side position extends sidewards along a transverse axis (Y) from an attachment region (3) of the main frame (2), and a cultivating unit (20), arranged on the boom (7), for field cultivation, said cultivating unit (20) being adjustable on the boom (7) between an inner position arranged relatively close to the attachment region (3) and an outer position that is further remote from the attachment region (3). According to the invention, in order to propose improved adjustability for transport in the case of a haymaking machine having booms, provision is made whereby, proceeding from a working position in which the booms (7) are in the side position, the following steps are performed: adjustment of each cultivating unit (20) relative to the main frame (2) into an upright position, at least in part by pivoting about in each case one unit pivot axis (A) which, when the booms (7) are in the side position, extends at least predominantly along the transverse axis (Y), adjustment of the booms (7) relative to the main frame (2), at least in part by pivoting about in each case one boom pivot axis (B), which extends at least predominantly along a vertical axis (Z) and is arranged in the attachment region (3), towards the longitudinal axis (X) into a longitudinal position, wherein the adjustment of the booms (7) is performed while the cultivating units (20) are at least temporarily in the outer position, and adjustment of the cultivating units (20) into the inner position after the adjustment of the booms (7) has been at least performed at least partially.
Harvesting apparatus with overload protection device
Harvesting apparatus, with a supporting frame (12) having a longitudinal member and crossmembers, pickup members (20) and transverse conveyor devices (21), wherein a respective pickup member and transverse conveyor device are arranged on a first and second side of the longitudinal member (13), wherein a first shiftable crossmember (14) is shiftable about an axis (24) and is furthermore shiftable via the second crossmember about an axis (25) extending in the longitudinal direction relative to a fixed crossmember (16), and wherein a first overload protection device (26) is positioned between the first and second shiftable crossmembers (14, 15), said overload protection device triggering when a force on the respective pickup member (20) and/or the respective transverse conveyor device (21) and/or the respective first crossmember (14) exceeds a limit value and permitting shifting of the respective pickup member (20) and of the respective transverse conveyor device (21) rearwards about the axis (24).
Rake with shiftable cross member
The present invention is a rake, comprising a tongue assembly and a wheel assembly operably coupled to the tongue assembly and being rotationally shiftable relative to the tongue assembly and the wheel assembly mounting a pair of rake assemblies. Each of the pair of rake assemblies is disposable in a generally horizontal disposition when the rake is in a transport disposition, the generally horizontal disposition being effected in part by the rotational shifting of the wheel assembly when transitioning between a working disposition and the transport disposition. The present invention is further a method of disposing the aforementioned rake in the transport disposition.
