Oscillating silage compactor
A compactor includes a frame supporting a first roller assembly and a second roller assembly. At least one of the first roller assembly and the second roller assembly is moveable relative to the frame in a motion that includes an upward vertical component and a downward vertical component. An actuator is coupled to at least one of the first and second roller assemblies and is operable to repeatedly move at least one of the roller assemblies relative to the frame in both the upward vertical component and the downward vertical component to oscillate the roller assemblies relative to each other.

A compactor includes a frame supporting a first roller assembly and a second roller assembly. At least one of the first roller assembly and the second roller assembly is moveable relative to the frame in a motion that includes an upward vertical component and a downward vertical component. An actuator is coupled to at least one of the first and second roller assemblies and is operable to repeatedly move at least one of the roller assemblies relative to the frame in both the upward vertical component and the downward vertical component to oscillate the roller assemblies relative to each other.

A bale bundling system includes a frame (5) capable of being attached to and drawn by a tractor, a bale bundling chamber (4) disposed on the frame (5) to form a pack (3) of bales (2) disposed vertically in a longitudinal direction (Y) of the pack (3), a pushing device (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) disposed to insert bales (2) into the bundling chamber (4), a platform (19) for lifting bales mounted vertically displaceable inside the bundling chamber (4), and a retaining device (21) for retaining bales (2) in the upper position. The pushing device (13) includes a compressing surface (13a) adapted to apply on a layer (20) of bales (2) an active compression force in a transverse direction (X) of the pack (3), inside the bundling chamber (4), so that the compressing surface (13a) applies the active compression force on the layer (20) of bales (2), while the lifting platform vertically moves the layer (20) in the internal space of the bundling chamber (4).
BALE BUNDLING SYSTEM, BALE BUNDLING MACHINE AND PROCEDURE FOR FORMING A PACKAGE OF BALES OF HAY OR SIMILAR MATERIAL
It comprises a frame (5) capable of being attached to and drawn by a tractor, a bale bundling chamber (4) disposed on the frame (5) to form a pack (3) of bales (2) disposed vertically in a longitudinal direction (Y) of the pack (3), a pushing device (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) disposed to insert bales (2) into the bundling chamber (4), a platform (19) for lifting bales mounted vertically displaceable inside the bundling chamber (4), and retaining means (21) for retaining bales (2) in the upper position. It is characterized in that the pushing device (13) comprises a compressing surface (13a) adapted to apply on a layer (20) of bales (2) an active compression force in a transverse direction (X) of the pack (3), inside the bundling chamber (4), so that the compressing surface (13a) applies the active compression force on the layer (20) of bales (2), while the lifting platform vertically moves the layer (20) in the internal space of the bundling chamber (4).
Bale bundling system, bale bundling machine and procedure for forming bundles of bales of hay or similar material
It comprises a bundling chamber (2) and a bale conveying device (5), wherein the bundling chamber (2) includes; a first enclosure (2a) to form a first bundle (B1) of bales inside the bundling chamber (2), and a second enclosure (2b) to form a second bundle (B2) of bales inside the bundling chamber (2), wherein said bale conveying device (5) is arranged to convey a first incoming bale (3B1) to a first bale loading position (P1) and a second incoming bale (3B2) to a second bale loading position (P2). The system further includes at least one bale pushing device (8a, 8b) to displace said first and second incoming bales (3B1, 3B2) from the first and second bale loading positions (P1, P2) into the respective first and second enclosures (2a, 2b), and processing and control means configured to successively send a control signal to said at least one bale pushing device (8a, 8b) for said bale pushing device (8a, 8b) to successively displace a number of new incoming bales (3B1, 3B2) into the respective first and second enclosures (2a, 2b).
