PICKING-UP DEVICE FOR BALES, AND PICKING-UP SYSTEM COMPRISING A PICKING-UP DEVICE
The invention relates to a picking-up device for bales (14) formed by compression of an, in particular, long-stemmed plant material, comprising a first side part (48), a second side part (50) spaced apart relative thereto in a first spatial direction (42), and connection units (66) for connecting the side parts (48, 50) along the first spatial direction (42), wherein the side parts (48, 50) are designed to assume a transport state relative to one another in which a receiving space (40) is defined between the side parts (48, 50) and bales (14) are positioned, for transport purposes, between the side parts (48, 50) in the receiving space (50), and to assume a filling state in which the side parts (48, 50) are at a greater distance relative to one another in the first spatial direction (42) than in the transport state and in which the bales (14) are instertable into the receiving space (40) along a second spatial direction (44) transverse to the first spatial direction via an insertion opening (68) arranged between the side parts (48, 50). In addition, the invention relates to a picking-up system with such a picking-up device.
Agricultural vehicle with adjustable pickup
A feeding assembly for an agricultural vehicle includes: a frame; a rotatable auger supported by the frame and including at least one flighting; and a pickup assembly including a rotatable pickup reel and a plurality of tines rotatably carried by the pickup reel about a rotation axis, the tines being configured to pickup and convey crop material to the auger during rotation of the pickup reel. The pickup reel is movable relative to the auger such that movement of the pickup reel adjusts a distance between the rotation axis and the at least one flighting of the auger.
Impeller with auger for an agricultural machine
A harvesting header of an agricultural machine includes a frame, a cutting mechanism coupled to the frame and configured to cut crop, an auger rotatably coupled to the frame at a location rearward of the cutting mechanism, and an impeller rotatably coupled to the frame at a location rearward of the auger. The impeller is configured to receive crop from the auger and condition the cut crop. The crop is projected by the auger in a rearward and upward direction relative to the impeller.
Support wheel assembly for a pick-up of an agricultural machine
The assembly comprises a beam, a support wheel rotatably mounted on an axle carried by the beam with a stub shaft. A hole in the frame of the baler which receives the stub shaft includes at least one radial recess dimensioned to permit the radially projecting arm to pass through the hole when aligned with the recess, the arm preventing the stub shaft from moving axially relative to the frame when misaligned with the recess.
MOLDED PICKUP STRIPPER AND ATTACHMENT SYSTEM FOR A BALER
A pickup assembly for a baler includes crop strippers that loop around a reel, the crop strippers spaced such that spacing between adjacent strippers forms a slot that allows a tine to project outwardly from the reel. A pickup frame has upper and lower mounting stubs, wherein each of the upper mounting stubs has a notch located centrally in a forward end of the upper mounting stub. A rear end section of an upper leg of each stripper is engaged with a respective upper mounting stub and a rear end section of a lower leg is engaged with a respective lower mounting stub. A distal end of each upper leg has an outer plate separated from an inner plate so as to form a gap. The upper leg has an alignment tab such that when the leg is received on the stub, the tab engages with the notch in the stub. A gap-facing surface of one of the inner plate or the outer plate has a detent extending into the gap, and the upper mounting stub comprises a keyhole opening formed therein rearward of the notch.
FLOATING ROTOR AND AUGER ARRANGEMENT OF AGRICULTURAL BALER
An agricultural baler includes: a frame; a feeder system coupled with the frame and including: a floor; and a rotor and auger arrangement configured for moving between a first position and a second position, the rotor and auger arrangement being spaced farther apart from the floor in the second position relative to the first position.
AGRICULTURAL WORKING APPARATUS
The invention relates to an agricultural working apparatus for use in forage harvesting and to a corresponding method with tines rotating about an axis A with corresponding tine ends. A device for changing the distance between the tine ends and the ground is also provided, as well as a sensor device for measuring a stubble height. An evaluation unit, in particular a decision support system, is provided to which the sensor device supplies measurement signals for the stubble height and which can determine a position of the tine ends as a function of the measured stubble height. A control device controls the device for changing the distance of the tine ends in order to set the determined position of the tine ends.
Shaft shield for rotary conveyor
A shield to prevent crop material from wrapping around the shaft of a rotary conveyor of a harvester, such as a baler, includes a body. The body is positioned between a stripper finger and a shaft of the rotary conveyor and has an end surface facing the shaft. A lug is positioned at the opposite end of the body from the end surface and is attached to the housing of the rotary conveyor. The body has opposite side surfaces positioned in spaced relation at a distance substantially equal to the width of the separation fingers of the rotary conveyor.
Harvesting Apparatus
Harvesting apparatus (10), namely merger or pickup swather with pickup members (18) designed as pickups for picking up harvested crop, with at least one transverse conveyor device (19) designed as belt conveyor for conveying the picked-up harvested crop in a transverse conveying direction running transversely with respect to a harvesting direction or direction of travel, wherein each pickup member (18) designed as a pickup is mounted pivotably on a respective transverse conveyor device (19) designed as belt conveyor, namely centrally with respect to the respective pickup member (18) via a respective joint (22).
Harvesting Apparatus
Harvesting apparatus, namely merger or pickup swather, with a supporting frame (11) having a longitudinal member (12) and crossmembers (13, 14), with a chassis (16) having wheels (17), with a drawbar (15) which engages on the supporting frame (11) and via which the harvesting apparatus can be coupled to a tractor, with pickup members (18) designed as a pickup for picking up harvested crop, wherein at least one pickup member (18) is accommodated on a first side of the longitudinal member (12) and at least one further pickup member (18) is accommodated on a second side of the longitudinal member (12), in each case on a crossmember (13, 14), with transverse conveyor devices (19) designed as belt conveyors for conveying the picked-up harvested crop in a transverse conveying direction running transversely with respect to a longitudinal direction, wherein at least one transverse conveyor device (19) is accommodated on a first side of the longitudinal member (12) and at least one further transverse conveyor device (19) is accommodated on a second side of the longitudinal member (12), on the respective crossmember (13, 14), wherein the drawbar (15) is pivotable relative to the supporting frame (11) for transferring the harvesting apparatus between a working position and a headland position and/or a transport position.
