Described herein are biodegradable, encircling protective devices used to protect seeds and saplings during their greatest vulnerability after germination while promoting growth of the sapling, preventing detritus and competing plants from fouling growth, and simultaneously fending off predation from herbivores or omnivores, which devices melt when exposed to controlled fire without harmful side effects.

Plant Frost Protection Apparatus
20170055462 · 2017-03-02 ·

An apparatus for protecting plants, trees, bushes, etc. from harsh environments when the ambient air temperature is below the lower tolerance limit for that species of plant. The apparatus consists of an envelope that covers the plant with a drawstring on the open end of the envelope that cinches around the base of the plant. Installed in envelope is a blower and heater that heats and circulates air throughout the envelope, creates a micro-environment within the envelope that is above the lower tolerance limit for that species of plant, keeping the plant from being harmed by the outside environment.

A Christmas tree bag is an apparatus which allows a user to easily carry and transport a Christmas tree and the like on a vehicle roof top while providing protection to a vehicles surface. The apparatus is comprised of a rectangular tarp like configuration that allows the user to enclose a Christmas tree within the tarp. The Christmas tree is placed on the tarp and the side edges are then brought together around the tree. The tree bag is secured around the Christmas tree with the attached straps. The outer surface includes a hand strap affixed for ease of carrying. The Christmas tree bag is then placed on a vehicle roof top and secured.

Bush and Shrub Protective Cover

The bush and shrub protective cover is a structure that is adapted to protect landscaping against physical injury from harsh weather conditions including, but not limited to snow, ice, heavy rain, hail, and high winds. The bush and shrub protective cover comprises a plurality of legs, a top cap, and a plurality of sides. The plurality of legs form the base upon which the bush and shrub protective cover is built. The plurality of legs support the top cap and the plurality of sides. The top cap has holes that allow water to flow through the top cap to the protected plants. The top cap is also formed with grooves to route excess water away from the protected plants. Each of the plurality of sides is formed with a plurality of wind flaps to control air flow through the bush and shrub protective cover.

An IPC device is over a pole in a ground surface adjacent a plant. The IPC device includes an upper end having a sealed apex and partially defining a plant-receiving cavity therein, a lower tubular end opposite the upper end and also partially defining the plant-receiving cavity therein, and a medial seam coupling the upper end and the lower tubular end. The upper end and the lower tubular end each has a major mesh surface. The lower tubular end includes a first end and a second end opposite the first end, the first end being coupled to the medial seam. The lower tubular end also partially defines the plant-receiving cavity therein. The IPC device also includes a curved flexible support carried by the medial seam.

DEVICE FOR FORMING A CANOPY
20250194475 · 2025-06-19 · ·

The invention relates to a device for forming a canopy over a region in the outdoors, comprising a flat element and a support assembly with supports, wherein the support assembly can be anchored to a ground surface of the region, and wherein the flat element supported by the support assembly functions to form an areal protective canopy over the region, wherein a section of the flat element extends along a ridge region of the protective canopy. According to the invention, a solar cell module is provided, which is connected to the flat element, such that, with light irradiation on the solar cell module, light energy can be converted into electrical energy, wherein a quick-closure mechanism comprising zip-closure mechanism with a zip-closure unit are provided, in order to detachably arrange a solar cell module on the flat element using the zip closure mechanism.
