Cap assembly for mushroom cultivation bottle

A cap assembly for a cultivation bottle for growing mushrooms is provided. The cap assembly (10) includes a bottle fitting member (20) configured to fit onto a mouth part (54) of the cultivation bottle (50) and a bowl-shaped member (30) configured to be placed on the bottle fitting member. The cap assembly being connected to the bottle prior to fruiting such that the mushrooms grow up through the mouth of the bottle and the attached cap assembly. The bowl-shaped member being separable from the bottle and attached bottle fitting member to facilitate harvesting of the mushroom fruiting bodies and removal of a section of the elongated hard tip portion.

A mushroom grow assembly has a top cover, a base assembly, a post and a transparent cover. The top cover includes a concave wall with a peripheral edge, a top opening, through openings and an upper receiving housing. The base assembly includes a lateral wall, a bottom wall and lower receiving housing. The post has a bottom wall that is mounted to the lower receiving housing and a top edge that is introduced inside the upper receiving housing. The transparent cover is mounted to the edges of base assembly and the top cover, surrounding said post. The top cover further includes a light assembly and a water chamber disposed inside said upper receiving housing. The post is filled with mushroom inoculated substrate. The base assembly, in an upside down disposition, can replace the top cover to allow at least one additional mushroom grow assembly be stacked below.

METHODS FOR CONTROLLING GEOMETRIC REGULARITY AND HOMOGENEITY OF AERIAL MYCELIUM TOPOLOGIES AND PRODUCTS OF AERIAL MYCELIUM WITH GEOMETRICALLY REGULAR OR HOMOGENEOUS TOPOLOGIES

This application relates to a method for growing aerial mycelium with a defined growth pattern and products of aerial mycelium materials with defined growth patterns based on controlled inoculation and either pasteurization or sterilization of a substrate in situ at the same select physical location. For example, a defined growth pattern can include a homogeneous growth topology or a geometrically regular pattern of bulbous forms, prompted by a defined geometrically regular inoculation of pasteurized or sterilized substrate from which the aerial mycelium is grown.
