Logging system and logging method
A logging system includes a plurality of support posts, cables supported by the support posts, a winding device operable to wind the cables, a lifting and lowering device that is connected to the cables, and is movable in the air when the cables are wound by the winding device, and a logging device hung by the lifting and lowering device. The logging device has a gripping portion configured to grip a tree, and a cutting portion configured to cut the tree gripped by the gripping portion.
SYSTEM FOR REMOVING IMPLANTED OBJECTS FROM THE GROUND
A system for removing implanted objects from the ground comprising of a square elongated tubing and a support structure. The elongated tubing having a top surface, a bottom surface, a first end and a second end, the first end having a point. The top surface of the elongated tubing having a stop for coupling the support structure to the elongated tubing. The support structure comprising a fulcrum for providing a stable bearing surface for when downward force is applied to the second end of the elongated tubing and a hanger for connecting the fulcrum to the elongated tubing.
COLLECTION METHOD AND COLLECTION SYSTEM
A collection method using a collection system including a lifting device that is configured to wind up an overhead line supported by a support post, a suspension device that is connected to the overhead line and is movable in the air as the lifting device winds the overhead line, and a grip device suspended from the suspension device includes a step of gripping a tree by the grip device at two points, a step of cutting the gripped tree, a step of tilting the cut tree such that a longitudinal direction of the tree is along a horizontal direction, and a step of conveying the tree gripped by the grip device as the lifting device winds the overhead line.
WORK DEVICE
The invention relates to a work device having a body with an attachment arrangement to attach the work device to a set of booms of a work machine. A pair of jaws fitted to the body includes two jaws arranged to form a grab. A first jaw is fixed to the body and a second jaw is pivoted rotatably to the body to open and close the grab. The rotatable jaw is arranged to be acted on by a hydraulic actuator, to open and close the grab. Between the hydraulic actuator and the rotatable jaw is a wide-angle pivot setup. An arm mechanism, equipped with two pivots fitted to a jaw arm is arranged to belong to the wide-angle pivot setup. In addition, the wide-angle pivot setup is arranged to include a rotatable lever arm fitted between the jaw arm and the body. The rotation angle of the movement created in the rotatable jaw by the wide-angle pivot setup has a magnitude of more than 120°.
Stump pulling apparatus
A stump pulling apparatus comprises a frame, a pair of arms, a pair of stump-engaging wheels, and a drawbar. The pair of arms are pivotally mounted to the frame. The pair of stump-engaging wheels are each rotatably mounted on the pair of arms at a rear end of the corresponding one of the pair of arms. The drawbar includes a front segment, configured to engage the vehicle for towing the stump pulling apparatus and slidably coupled to the rear segment, a rear segment coupled to each of the pair of arms, and a displacement cylinder coupled to and intermediately disposed between the front segment and the rear segment. When the front segment of the drawbar is pulled forward, the displacement cylinder provides a forwardly-acting force on the rear segment, which pivots the pair of arms toward each other, thereby forcibly bringing the stump-engaging wheels together.
TREE STUMP REMOVAL ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY
Described are various embodiments of a tree stump and root removal attachment assembly for use on a hydraulic work vehicle. In one embodiment, the attachment assembly comprises a tree stump removal device, comprising an elongated single fork portion for piercingly engaging the ground under tree stump and to push at least a portion thereof out of the ground, and a vertically oriented cutting blade positioned at a designated distance from an end of the single fork portion, the cutting blade comprising a concavely shaped sharp cutting edge bounded at two ends thereof by substantially pointed ends. The assembly further comprises a hydraulic ram mechanically coupled to the cutting blade, to move the cutting blade up and down to cut said least a portion of said tree stump; and a mounting plate removably attachable to the arms of the work vehicle for removably securing the tree stump removal device thereto.
Stump extraction device, system and method for extracting stumps
A stump extraction device that includes two opposite jaws, two opposite cutting blades that are extensions of free ends of the jaws, a rotation device, and fixing elements that are configured to rigidly fix the stump extraction device to a desired object. The rotation device is configured to rotate the body and the jaws with respect to the fixing elements. A moving working machine includes the stump extraction device and a knuckle boom assembly, to an end of which the stump extraction device is rigidly connected. The moving working machine may be a crawler excavator. In a method, roots in the ground are cut off from a stump by closing of the jaws, and the stump is separated from the roots by lifting the stump extraction device by means of the knuckle boom assembly.
