Timber working device and method for controlling a timber working device and a working vehicle
A timber working device, comprising a frame, having a feed axis, a drive system, configured to feed at least one stem along the feed axis, at least a pair of upper knives or lower knives movably attached to the frame, wherein the knives are configured to be controllable each by an actuator to open and close around a stem, a tilt mechanism comprising a controllable tilt bracket pivotably attached to the frame, to control a tilt position of the frame in relation to the tilt bracket.
Heavy equipment boom system and method and hydraulic circuit therefor
A boom system including a hoist boom pivoted to a machine base; a stick boom having a proximal end pivoted to the hoist boom and a distal end configured to carry a working tool; at least one hydraulic hoist cylinder mounted between the machine base and the hoist boom; a first stick cylinder mounted between the hoist boom and the stick boom; a second stick cylinder mounted similarly and mechanically linked with the first stick cylinder; and a hydraulic circuit for supplying hydraulic fluid to the hoist cylinder and stick cylinders, wherein the hydraulic circuit includes a hydraulic conduit line connecting a base end of the at least one hoist cylinder with a base end of the second stick cylinder to allow hydraulic fluid to shunt between the base ends of the hoist cylinder and the second stick cylinder.
SENSOR SYSTEMS FOR SYNCING OPERATIONAL DATA FOR HEAVY EQUIPMENT
Sensor systems for communications between heavy equipment machines during tree felling operations. A system includes a first heavy equipment comprising a first winch and a second heavy equipment comprising a second winch. The system includes a first cable attached to the first winch and a fulcrum roller and a second cable attached to the second winch and the fulcrum roller. The system is such that the first heavy equipment communicates with the second heavy equipment by way of long-range radio signals.

CONTROLLING BOOM OF WORK MACHINE
In the disclosed solution, a boom assembly (14) of a work machine (1) is controlled by tip control. In tip control, a control command is given to a tip of a boom assembly (14), converted into control commands for individual actuators of the boom assembly (14). In the disclosed solution, a variable related to a load and its position at the tip of the boom assembly (14) is defined, and the variable in question related to the load and its position at the tip of the boom assembly (14) is taken into account in the control command for the actuator.
TIMBER-WORKING DEVICES
A timber-working device has a frame, and a saw apparatus mounted to the frame. At least one pair of arms are pivotally attached to the frame and configured to be controlled to grasp at least one tree stem. A feed mechanism is configured to feed the at least one stem relative to the frame. The feed mechanism has opposing feed arms, each feed arm pivotally connected to the frame. Each feed arm has a pivot pin arrangement with a first pivot pin and a second pivot pin, where the first pivot pin and the second pivot pin are aligned along a common longitudinal axis. An air gap is provided between the between the first pivot pin and the second pivot pin along the common longitudinal axis.
