A MONITORING SYSTEM
Disclosed is a monitoring system, and associated method, relating to the operation of a dairy plant, the system being adapted or able to monitor one or more of the following criteria: the mixing and/or dispensing of animal health products, the mixing and/or dispensing of teat treatments, the mixing and/or dispensing of chemicals, the mixing and/or dispensing of cleaning chemicals, the monitoring of plant cleaning operations, the usage of plant products/treatments/chemicals, and/or any other aspects associated with the operation of a dairy plant. The system is preferably able to monitor a dispensing system associated with a dairy plant.
CIP SYSTEM
A Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) system and process for cleaning objects are provided for use in a CIP plant suitable for, e.g., producing products requiring a high level of hygiene. The plant includes primary and optionally secondary tanks for cleaning media, a freshwater supply, one or more forward lines forwarding liquid (e.g., cleaning media or water) from the plant to one or more objects. Objects may include one unit or a part of a unit, such as a tank or pipeline, or a combination of units, and each object is subjected to a separate CIP flow. Return line(s) and forward line(s) manage liquid (e.g., cleaning media or water or freshwater) between various components of the system.
Safety valve for a dairy system component
A system for cleaning a dairy animal milker unit and applying dip to a dairy animal, the system includes a main control, an air supply, a water supply, a backflush fluid supply, a dip supply, a stall control for receiving the air, water, backflush fluid and dip supplies, and a safety valve that is adjacent to a downstream portion of the milker unit to control backflush and dip fluids being fed to the milker unit.
A MILKING SYSTEM
A milking system configured to milk animals includes at least one milking station, a milk tank, a transport conduit, a valve arrangement, and a cleaning arrangement that includes a delivery arrangement configured to deliver a first liquid into the milk transport conduit and to deliver a second liquid into the milk transport conduit, a pump, a controller configured to control the delivery arrangement, and a detector configured to detect that a delivery of the first liquid into milk transport conduit has ended. The detector is connected to the controller, which is configured, as a response to a signal from the detector that the delivery of the first liquid has ended, to activate the delivery arrangement to deliver the second liquid into the milk transport conduit subsequently to the ending of the delivery of the first liquid while there is a column of first liquid in the milk transport conduit.
Dairy animal milking preparation system and methods
The present invention relates to preparing dairy animal teats for being milked, and more particularly to teat preparation, rinsing, and milking that all take place in a milking machine teat cup liner. Such a method includes: applying a teat sanitizer to the teat; injecting air into the liner to force the teat sanitizer toward a waste milk line connected to the liner; pulsating the liner at a first pulsation rate; drawing a rinsing milk from the teat; directing the teat sanitizer, the air, and the rinsing fluid to the waste milk line; pulsating the liner at a second pulsation rate to draw additional milk from the teat; and directing the additional milk to a good milk line.
Automatic washing system for bucket milking machine
The present invention is related to the type of milking machines with milk bucket or trolley bucket milking machine used for milk production mainly in small-medium scaled animal breeding enterprises. The invention is particularly related to an automatic washing method which is used for washing the milking machine with milk bucket after milking automatically and also both increases the quality of the milk and prevents damage to the udder, comprises pre-rinsing, washing, final-rinsing process steps and to a milking machine with a milk bucket having an automatic washing system which comprises detergent dosing unit, washing boiler, milk can, milking cluster, washing jetter, washing line, liquid drafting line in the milk bucket, milk bucket vacuum connection, washing boiler vacuum connection, boiler-milk bucket vacuum orientation and vacuum discharge valve, boiler and milk bucket interim valve, washing line valve, drainage valve, drainage line, heating element, cold water intake valve, hot water intake valve, float bottom level sensor, float upper level sensor.
A MILKING ARRANGEMENT
A milking arrangement includes a milk transport line (1), a plurality of milk stations, and a cleaning arrangement (4) with a delivery arrangement (5) configured to deliver a cleaning liquid into the milk transport line (1) and a pump (6) configured to pump the cleaning liquid through the milk transport line (1) at a pressure larger than atmospheric pressure, thereby filling the transport line (1) with cleaning liquid. A control unit (9) is configured to determine a volume and/or length of the milk transport line (1) on basis of registered first point of time of pump start, a second point of time of passage of cleaning liquid through the milk transport line (1), and the amount of liquid introduced into the milk transport line from the first point of time to the second point of time.
Automated teat dip fluid manifold
A teat dip fluid manifold and methods for distributing teat dip fluids, and including redundant valve sets and pressure monitoring between valve pairs to determine valve condition.
AUTOMATED TEAT DIP FLUID MANIFOLD
A teat dip fluid manifold and methods for distributing teat dip fluids, and including redundant valve sets and pressure monitoring between valve pairs to determine valve condition.
