Substance inhalation system and method
A stand-alone chamber or multi-chamber inhalation system has at least two alternative vaporized test liquid supply systems for passive or self-administered delivery of vaporized test fluid and air to one or more test chambers, which can be passive or restraint chambers, based on operator selection of delivery on and off times in a passive mode or actuation of an actuator in the chamber by a test animal in a self-administered mode. In one case, a multiple inhalation chamber system has two or more separate test fluid delivery systems and provides options for selective passive uniform drug delivery to multiple chambers or selective delivery of two or more different drugs to different groups of chambers from different delivery systems so that two different drugs or different concentrations of delivered drugs can be tested simultaneously.

Integrally Manufactured Stall Dividers for Barns
A hollow polymer stall divider for use in a barn permits lateral flexing when a cow presses against the stall divider while the stall divider asserts a lateral force against the cow to urge the cow to move into a proper position between adjacent stall dividers without causing injury to the cow. The polymer stall divider can be formed of a single polymer material having a unitary density throughout. Alternatively, the polymer stall divider can be formed of multiple sections of different densities of polymer material, and different types of polymer material. The different sections of polymer material can be plastic welded together or connected by plug members inserted into the adjoining ends of the sections and secured with adhesives or other bonding material to form line blanks that can be heated until softened sufficiently to be bent into a proper shape within a pre-formed mold.
Hinge locking system
A hinge locking system is provided for locking pivotable hinge parts at a desired angular position relative to one another. The hinge locking system includes a locking pin, a plate with a locking pin receiver, a movable pin receiver defining an axial bore for receiving the locking pin, and a pair of spaced-apart limit stops along the plate. The movable pin receiver is movable relative to the plate, and the limit stops are selectively contacted by the movable pin receiver to limit the maximum relative movement of the movable pin receiver. When the axial bore of the movable pin receiver aligns with the plate's locking pin receiver, the locking pin is insertable through the locking pin receiver and the axial bore in the movable pin receiver, to thereby lock the movable pin receiver and the hinge parts against further movement.
FENCE POST FOR AN ANIMAL ENCLOSURE
A fence post for an animal enclosure is disclosed. The fence post comprises; a first member, a second member, a collar; and a fastener. The first member and second member are substantially the same length. The second member has a cross-bore at a proximal end thereof, the collar defines an aperture, and the first member is fixedly attachable to the collar. The second member is configured to be partially received within the collar for alignment of the cross-bore and the aperture, and the second member is fixable relative to the collar by means of the fastener arranged to at least partially pass through said cross-bore and said aperture.
BARN CONTROL SYSTEM
A barn control system includes a building having at least one door with a lock. Disposed within the building are a plurality of pens with each pen having one or more feed bins, a feed line, a feed motor and a feed pan. A plurality of sensors and activation devices are disposed within the building and are connected to a computer. Based upon sensed information, the computer transmits information to open and close the door, monitor and control feed consumption and ordering, and provide a bio security system.
Modular Livestock Stall
A connector includes a cube, a first cylinder and a second cylinder. The cube includes first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth faces. The cube includes a first bore therein, the first bore having a first longitudinal axis. The first cylinder extends from the first face; the first cylinder includes a first hole therein, the first hole having a second longitudinal axis. The second cylinder extends from the second face; the second cylinder includes a second hole therein, the second hole having a third longitudinal axis. The first, second and third longitudinal axes are parallel to each other. In another aspect, a vent element includes a first piece and a second piece that is a mirror image of the first piece, each of the pieces having upper, middle and lower portions. In yet another aspect, a system is configured for removable attachment of an elongated tube to a surface.
FREE STALL SYSTEM AND FREE STALL DIVIDER HAVING FIBERGLASS PORTION
Free stall systems having free stall units arranged in a substantially parallel relationship having coated rail members. The coated rail members comprising an elongated fiberglass material manufactured by grinding a starting fiberglass material prior to a coating being applied. The starting fiberglass material can be reclaimed and reused from other industries such that the fiberglass material may be cut to remove unwanted metal end portions and/or cut to a desired size prior to the grinding and coating steps. The coated fiberglass material can be coated with a UV-resistant material or other coating to maintain the longevity of the fiberglass member during its use. The coated fiberglass apparatus may be utilized in free stall systems, gates, fencing materials and other applications where a solid fiberglass rod or hollow fiberglass tube having a desired coating is desired.
A DAIRY FARM WITH A SINGLE OR MULTIPLE FRONTAL ELEVATED ROADS
The present invention discloses, inter alia, a free dome range system (FDR) comprising at least one front elevated rail (FER); at least one rear elevated rail (RER); a plurality of mobile units, each of the plurality of mobile units movable along a member of a group consisting of: the at least one FER, the least one RER and any combination thereof. The invention also discloses a method of positioning at least one of a plurality of mobile units in an FDR comprising steps of providing a free dome range system (FDR) comprising at least one front elevated rail (FER); at least one rear elevated rail (RER); and the plurality of mobile units, each of the plurality of mobile units movable along a member of a group consisting of: the at least one FER, the least one RER and any combination thereof. The present invention further discloses a dairy farm characterized by (a) an array of n stalls side-by-side along an X axis on the dairy animal's level. Each of the stalls is configured by means of size and shape to accommodate a dairy animal, having a main axis Y that is substantially perpendicular to axis X, a front side and an opposite rear side; and (b) a common elevated road surface provided on a higher level, above the stalls. This upper road surface extends along the X axis and is constructed to allow free passage of mobile units, including mobile longitudinal milking units, in a direction along the X axis, along the Y axis, a rotation about the X axis, a rotation about the Y axis, a rotation about the Z axis, and any combination thereof. The present invention further discloses means and method that in a stall, a gate located between the animal and the feeding line is thereby configured to at least temporarily prevent or otherwise limit free access of said animal to its feed.
Livestock Stall and Tack Cart
A stall and tack cart for transporting livestock is provided. The livestock stall and tack cart generally incorporates telescoping members and stall carriers protruding vertically therefrom. The telescoping members allow for a length of the livestock stall and tack cart to be adjusted such that the stall carriers may hold one or more livestock stalls securely while the stall and tack cart is in motion. The devices and methods provided have the advantages of being as durable and capable of carrying heavy loads as currently existing livestock transportation solutions, but allow equipment for one or more livestock animals to be quickly and easily transported, for example, from a waiting or confinement area to an exhibition space, including through crowded, obstructed, or tight passages.
