Fluid delivery systems, methods and apparatus to dispense fluid on an animal
Fluid delivery systems, methods and apparatus to dispense a dose of fluid on an animal, which may be particularly used for behavior modification of the animal, are disclosed. A system may particularly comprise an apparatus wearable by the animal. The apparatus is suitable for storing a fluid contained therein, and dispensing a dose of fluid on the animal, particularly to spur or otherwise induce behavior modification of the animal, particularly in response to training stimuli during a training scenario.
GAS MONITORING DEVICE
An animal emission monitoring device for positioning on cattle, the animal emission monitoring device comprising a snout member comprising a sensor unit for detecting the quantity of methane emissions and a positioning means for positioning the device on the head of an animal such that the snout member locates the sensor unit over the nostril of the animal.
DERMATOLOGICAL COLLAR FOR NON-HUMAN ANIMALS
The present invention relates to a collar for non-human animals, preferably for companion animals, comprising a polymeric matrix and a lipid extract comprising sphingomyelins. It also refers to the collar for use as a medicine, particularly for use as an adjuvant and for use in the treatment or prevention of atopic dermatitis or allergic dermatitis, as well as in restoring the integrity of the skin during or after an atopic dermatitis or an allergic dermatitis, increasing the hydration and flexibility of the skin, facilitating skin regeneration or reducing itching of the skin.
Anti-Attack Shock Collar
An anti-attack shock collar is a collar for an animal, and comprises an electronics unit; a power supply operable to create a potential difference between a first and a second terminal; at least one flexible strap secured at one position along its length to the electronics unit, having opposing ends which are releasably fastenable to each other to form a closed loop, and comprising first and second electrodes which are exposed or partially exposed on the exterior of the collar and are electrically connected to the first and second terminals of the power supply respectively; and a water sensor configured to detect the presence of water on a portion of the collar and, if water is detected on the portion of the collar, cause the electronics unit to prevent the power supply from being operated to create a potential difference between the first and second electrodes.
ACTUATED COLLAR
An actuated collar is provided, the actuated collar comprising a pair of straps' ends operatively interconnected to each other via a mechanism adapted to momentarily alter the distance between the each of the straps' ends to reduce the length of the strap to choke an animal.
Piezoelectric detection coupling of a bark collar
A method is described that comprises receiving a filtered signal corresponding to an acoustic event, applying one or more tests to the filtered signal in a sequence, wherein each test of the one or more tests assesses the filtered signal for the presence of one or more characteristics, the determining the presence of the one or more characteristics comprising a failure to identify the acoustic event as a first event, terminating the applying the one or more tests when a test determines the presence of the one or more characteristics, and identifying the acoustic event as the first event upon an occurrence of completing all tests of the one or more tests, the completing all tests including each test in the sequence determining the absence of the one or more characteristics.
DOG COLLAR
An intelligent dog collar for monitoring physiological parameters of a dog, comprising: a movement sensor unit comprising an accelerometer and/or a gyrometer, wherein the movement sensor unit is configured to detect raw movement signals of the dog collar, a storage module storing a trained neural network, the neural network being configured to determine a physiologic information into raw movement signals detected by the movement sensor unit, a processing unit connected to the movement sensor unit and configured to operate the trained neural network, a memory configured to store the identified physiologic information, an interface for transmitting to a communication device the identified physiologic information.
Key and keyway charm jewelry and companion animal charm collar
Companion animal charm collar (10) and charm jewelry band (11). The charm collar has a radial alignment key and keyway system for stringing and removing charms (40) onto and off from the rope (30), and/or a center mount bead-chain end ring connector system for securing the rope (30) onto the collar (20). The charm jewelry band (11) has a radial alignment key and keyway system for stringing and removing charms (40) onto and off from the rope (30), and a connector (33) with connector halves at each end (30.sub.1) and (30.sub.2) of the rope (20) for releasable connection of the rope ends (30.sub.1) and (30.sub.2) to one another to form a continuous band.
TRAINING COLLAR AND METHOD FOR USE WITH PETS TO PREVENT TUGGING
Various methods and apparatuses for correcting an animal to heel. Generally, the present disclosure teaches an animal training apparatus for correcting an animal to heel. The animal training apparatus includes a collar adapted to operably engaged with an animal, a stimulus unit operably engaged with the collar, and a control unit operably engaged with the collar and operatively connected with the stimulus unit, wherein the control unit is adapted to operably engage with a leash cord. The animal training apparatus also includes a tension measuring device of the control unit operably engaged with the collar and adapted for measuring tension in the leash cord and producing an electrical signal when the tension exceeds a predetermined tension threshold; wherein the control unit is selectively programmable to generate at least one correction stimulus to the animal when the animal exceeds the predetermined tension threshold set in the control unit.
Animal sensory stimulation with fur differential impedance detection
A collar-mounted location sensor and stimulation unit includes a body. A generally planar stimulation unit and differential impedance-based fur detector in combination protect the animal from harmful stimulation. At least one sensory stimulator is configured to provide at least one of auditory, kinesthetic, and visual stimulation responsive to an output of a location sensor. One or more of a voltage, current, oscillation frequency, extent of modulation, or other output characteristic of the stimulation unit output is varied responsive to the detected fur differential impedance to protect and benefit both the body and mind of the animal.
