VARIABLE WIDTH FENCE ENTRY
A variable width fence entry system can include a detachable extension, and a pivotable connection between the detachable extension and a ground anchor or a cattle guard. The detachable extension is releasably secured to the ground anchor or the cattle guard. A method can include releasably securing a detachable extension to a ground anchor or a cattle guard, and releasably securing the detachable extension to a fence. Another variable width fence entry system can include a detachable extension including at least three pipes arranged in a triangular configuration, and a pivotable connection configured to pivotably connect the detachable extension to a ground anchor or a cattle guard, the pivotable connection including at least two pivot sleeves encircling one of the pipes, and the pivot sleeves being configured to releasably attach to the ground anchor or the cattle guard.
Cattle guard
A cattle guard may include a front rail with at least one receptacle therein, a back rail with at least one receptacle therein, at least one support member having a first end disposed in the at least one receptacle of the front rail and a second end disposed in the at least one receptacle of the back rail, a left rail with a first plurality of receptacles therein, a right rail with a second plurality of receptacles therein, and a plurality of pipes extending between the receptacles of the left and right rails and over the at least one support member. Cattle guard kits and methods of installation are also disclosed.
Cattle guard assembly
A cattle guard assembly includes a cattle guard that is positionable in a depression in a roadway extending along a fence line. In this way the cattle guard inhibits livestock from crossing the fence line in the roadway. The cattle guard is comprised of a resiliently compressible material thereby resisting impact damage. Additionally, the cattle guard is comprised of a non-oxidizing material to resist corrosion. The cattle guard comprises a plurality of modular units thereby facilitating the cattle guard to have a selectable width for accommodating a variety of roadway widths. Each of the modular units is comprised of a molded, unitary structure such that said modular units resist breaking. Each of the modular units includes a base and a grate, and the grate is positionable in an existing cattle guard base for replacing an existing grate in an existing cattle guard.
Injury mitigating stock guard
An injury mitigating stock guard includes mutually parallel linear members defining linear pockets therebetween of sufficient size to allow the passage of the hoof of an adult domesticated animal. The linear members include one or more laterally extending flanges that prevent the further passage of the hoof through the bottoms of the pockets to prevent injury.

Bidirectional spring-biased gate
A bidirectional, spring-biased gate assembly includes a pair of side frames, an elongated hinge extending therebetween, and a gate extending vertically from the hinge. In a resting position, the gate extends vertically across an open interior between the pair of side frames, providing a movable barrier suitable for deterring and/or blocking animals from passing therethrough. The gate is able to transition between the resting position, a first lowered position perpendicular to the resting position, and a second lowered position perpendicular to the resting position in the opposite direction of the first lowered position. The gate assembly further comprises a plurality of springs extending between one of the side frames and the gate and are adapted to return the gate to the resting position from either the first lowered position or the second lowered position.
INJURY MITIGATING STOCK GUARD
An injury mitigating stock guard is described. The stock guard includes mutually parallel linear members defining linear pockets therebetween of sufficient size to allow the passage of the hoof of an adult domesticated animal. The linear members include one or more laterally extending flanges that prevent the further passage of the hoof through the bottoms of the pockets to prevent injury.

Livestock guard apparatus, systems and methods
Several embodiments of livestock guards are disclosed that utilize pre-fabricated forms that are transported to the installation site and are then either filled with a settable material such as concrete or a settable foam, or alternatively is assembled from basic guard units that are fitted together to define the assembled livestock guard.
