A lighting system for a poultry feeding house includes a wire harness attachable to an existing feeding house shocker wire or feed auger pipe and a lighting fixture positioned beneath the wire harness and positionable on the feed auger pipe. A wire connection secured to the wire harness encapsulates wire leads to power and control the lighting fixture.

An adjustable feeder pan system for feeding poultry and a related method is provided The feeder pan system includes a cone portion, an excluder portion that includes a number of anti-rake and radially disposed fins, a skirt, a feed pan, a cap, and optionally a feed shut-off component The cone includes a pair of stops that may selectively engage with one of a number of pairs of corresponding slots of varying depths on the excluder portion so as to provide multiple feed levels as desired and depending upon the size and age of the poultry being fed

A feeding trough for poultry farming includes automatic dispensing of feed from a vertically displaceable horizontal dispensing tube, formed by just three pieces. One of the pieces is a plate formed in one piece with a ring which in a lowered position of the bell-like housing opens a crown of apertures and in a raised position of the bell-like housing closes the crown of apertures so as to reduce the amount of feed transferred to the plate. The feed trough is also configured to facilitate periodic rinsing thereof.

A feeder for feeding poultry and the like, the feeder comprising: a base including a pan configured to receive and retain feed; a storage hopper positioned above the base during use for receiving and storing feed, said hopper being operable to dispense feed into the pan under the effect of gravity; the base further including a housing for at least enclosing the pan, the housing including an opening positioned in between the pan and the hopper during use for allowing poultry and the like to access an internal space enclosed by the housing for consuming the feed retained in the pan.

This invention comprises a Poultry Feeder Assembly (3) for providing access to feed to chicks of small breeds as well as growing and fully grown up birds from the same Poultry Feeder Assembly, provided with a barrier to minimize entry of the chicks inside a feed containing pan (25) of the Poultry Feeder Assembly, the said Poultry Feeder Assembly being attachable to a pipe that has means for automatic conveying of feed from a small hopper (2) to the Poultry Feeder assembly attached to the pipe, the pipe being named as “Feeder Pipe” (4), and the said Feeder Pipe is provided with a winch system or an analogous means for level adjustment or height adjustment from ground or floor of a poultry house; wherein, the pan means for holding the feed is separable for cleaning purpose from the tube that conveys feed received from a feeding pipe to the pan.

An adjustable flood-type poultry feeder is disclosed that has a drop tube adapted to be releasably secured to a feed conveyor and a feed tube where the drop tube and the feed tube are movable relative to one another and have flood windows that can be selectively opened and closed by moving the drop tube and the feed tube relative to one another.
