MARINE TILES, PODS, TANKS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF

Portable and interchangeable marine tiles, marine pods and tanks are disclosed. The marine tile typically contains a first face, a second face, and one or more sites for supporting one or more marine organisms, such as coral, and. may contain a tracking device. The marine pod typically contains a first panel having a first slit and a second panel having a second slit. The first panel and the second panel can be interlocked via sliding the first slit into the second slit. The marine pod can have one or more marine tiles attached thereto. The marine tank typically contains one or more coral reef organisms. Water can be pumped into and through the marine tank to flow in the form of a river stream. Typically, the flow of the seawater is controlled such that a consistent temperature is maintained in the marine tank.

Terrarium Lid Spacer

Improvements in a space for a terrarium or clone propagation enclosure that allows for displacement to provide even horizontal air flow between the lid and the propagation enclosure. The spaces are configured for installation on the top corners of the enclosure and creates an intermediate environment. With the installation of the spacer(s), the plants are provided with an initial exposure to the future growth environment when the dome is removed to improve adaptation to the drier, more windy conditions, causing them little to no stress when the dome is removed. The spacers can be stacked to increase the air gap between the lid and the enclosure. The lid spacers fit within the lid to retain the lid and minimize side-to-side movement. It also allows for a more stable structure if multiple stacked growing chambers are transported or used with the spacers installed.

Systems and methods of intensive recirculating aquaculture

Systems and methods for intensive recirculating aquaculture are provided herein. An example system includes water sourced from a first segment of a saline aquifer, a recirculating aquaculture system receiving the sourced water and producing discharge water, and a water discharge point located within a second segment of the saline aquifer disposed below the first segment of the saline aquifer.

A water treatment system 1 includes at least one aquaculture water tank 10 configured to culture water creatures; at least one hydroponic culture water tank 20 configured to hydroponically grow plants; and a water treatment device 30 configured to treat water discharged from the aquaculture water tank 10 and supply the treated water to the hydroponic culture water tank 20. The water treatment device 30 controls the amount of nutrient content for the plants to be supplied to the hydroponic culture water tank 20 by generating the nutrient content from impurities contained in the water discharged from the aquaculture water tank 10 and in a case where the amount of the generated nutrient content is excessive, storing the excessive nutrient content in a storage tank 33.

A system for transferring marine life within an aquaculture facility including a plurality of segregated storage facilities each containing water for marine life, maintained within a predetermined temperature range and supported at independent ground levels. The storage facilities are successively disposed and structured to contain marine life at different stages of growth. A transfer assembly includes a path of fluid flow interconnecting successive ones of said plurality of storage facilities in fluid communication with one another, wherein at least a majority of a length of said path of fluid flow is disposed beneath the independent ground levels at a predetermined depth, which is sufficient to facilitate maintenance of the path of fluid flow within the predetermined temperature range, via geothermal cooling.

TERRARIUM WITH A CATCH TRAY, INTERIOR CATCH TRAY, METHODS OF USE AND METHODS OF ASSEMBLY

A catch tray for a terrarium container. The tray comprises a rectangular bottom wall, first opposite rectangular side walls each separated from the bottom wall by one of first folding lines, and second opposite rectangular side walls each separated from the bottom wall by one of second folding lines. Each of the first and second side walls is oriented upwardly with respect to the bottom wall and connected to the bottom wall by the corresponding first or second folding line. Each of the first side walls is separated from adjacent one of the second side walls by two triangular corner panels connected to each other by a corner folding line and to the adjacent first and second side walls by the first or second folding lines. The triangular corner panels folded inwardly with respect to the side panels so as to define triangle shaped flaps disposed inside the tray.
