Removable extension for a spincast reel line release button
A removable extension for a line release button of a spincast fishing reel includes an attachment end having one or more attachment structures on one side thereof, the attachment structures configured for removable attachment of the attachment end to the line release button; an engagement end configured for application of a force from a user's thumb; and a transition section connecting the attachment end with the engagement end.
Fishing Line Reel with In-Line Payout Control
A reel for fishing line or the like provides for extremely rapid payout by releasing the line to unwind by sliding rapidly around a guide surrounding the line spool and by rotation of the line spool itself. A handle extending rearwardly from the reel controls a line guide preventing sliding of the fishing line around the guide and providing controllable friction and locking of rotation of the line spool only when actuated by the user to permit retraction of the line or controlled tensioning of the line.
Bowfishing Reel
A fishing reel that may be used in connection with bowfishing is disclosed having a housing with a generally cylindrical first portion with an aperture disposed about a center top portion of the cylindrical first portion. The housing has a generally cylindrical second portion disposed about a bottom of the first portion. The second portion of the housing has an outer perimeter that is less than an outer perimeter of the first portion of the housing. A crank arm is disposed about a side of the housing, said crank arm having a mount that is disposed perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the housing. A handle is disposed about a bottom of the second portion, said handle having a post disposed coaxial with a center of the aperture and a grip coupled to the post and disposed perpendicular to the post.
Rotatable Line Transfer Mechanism For a Fishing Reel
A rotatable line transfer mechanism for a fishing reel includes a substantially hemispherical cap (SHC) and a securing mechanism. The SHC includes an outwardly curved hemispherical upper section (OCHUS) and a wall extending vertically downwards from a boundary of the OCHUS. The SHC includes a line flow slot extending from the wall to an apex of the OCHUS. The line flow slot receives and passes a fishing line from and to a spool. The securing mechanism is attachable to the SHC to rotatably secure the SHC to a fishing reel body. The rotatable line transfer mechanism is rotated about an axis of rotation of the spool in one direction to position the fishing line in a first end of the line flow slot during a retrieve mode, and in another direction to position the fishing line in a second end of the line flow slot during a cast mode.

A handle extending rearwardly from the reel controls a line guide preventing sliding of the fishing line around the guide and providing controllable friction and locking of rotation of the line spool only when actuated by the user to permit retraction of the line or controlled tensioning of the line.
Spincast reel
A spincast reel includes a frame. A rotatable main shaft is mounted on the frame, the periphery of the main shaft is provided with two spiral grooves with reverse spirals, a side of a shaft sleeve opposite to the spiral groove is provided with a kidney-shaped hole, and a transmission claw which passes through the kidney-shaped hole and is slidably installed in the spiral groove is fixed to a reel seat; one end of the main shaft penetrates into the frame and is provided with a driving gear assembly for driving the main shaft to rotate, and the other end thereof is fixedly connected to a line pickup portion. The spincast reel provides uniform line arrangement and prevents partial fishing line tangles during winding.

The spincast reel provides uniform line arrangement and prevents partial fishing line tangles during winding.
Bearing supported pick-up pin for spincast reel
A fishing reel designed to retain rotational functionality under load. The reel has a spool and spinner head assembly. A first pin arm is pivotally mounted to a plate portion of the spinner head assembly. A plate facing surface of the first pin arm has at least a portion that defines a planar surface from the first pivot end to the first pin arm for providing deflection resistance. A first pick-up pin selectively extends the first pin arm through a first pick-up pin orifice in a wall portion of the spinner head assembly. A first pick-up sleeve is rotationally mounted on the first pick-up pin for engaging fishing line when fishing line is wound onto said spool.
