Spinning reel spool and spinning reel
A spool for a spinning reel is mountable on a spool shaft. The spool includes a spool body that rotates with respect to the spool shaft. The spool also includes a drag mechanism between the spool body and the spool shaft to apply a braking force against a rotation of the spool body. The spool further includes a radiator in the spool body and in contact with the drag mechanism. The radiator rotates with respect to one of the spool body or the spool shaft. The radiator does not rotate with respect to the other one of the spool body or the spool shaft.
DUAL-BEARING REEL
A dual-bearing reel includes a first reel body, a second reel body, a spool, a brake mechanism, a regulating member, an operating lever and a nut member. The brake mechanism brakes rotation of the spool. The regulating member is attached to the first reel body. The regulating member regulates a braking force to be applied by the brake mechanism. The regulating member has a tubular shape. The regulating member includes a screw part and a flange part. The screw part is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the regulating member. The flange part extends outward from the outer peripheral surface in a radial direction. The operating lever is attached to the regulating member, and is disposed between the flange part and the first reel body. The nut member is disposed between the operating lever and the first reel body, and is screwed onto the screw part.
DRAG RELEASE SYSTEM FOR REEL
Provided is a drag release system of a reel, that system adjusting drag by rotation of a spool on the reel, more particularly, a drag release system that immediately adjusts drag of a spool to prevent cutting of a fishing line by immediately decreasing the drag of the spool when strong tension is applied to the spool during fishing, by forming a fitting hole perpendicular to the axis of a cylindrical driving shaft and forming slits at a sleeve fitted on the driving shaft to have a predetermined length in the longitudinal direction of the driving shaft and to correspond to the fitting hole so that a fixing pin fitted in the fitting hole through the slits prevents the sleeve from idling on the driving shaft and guides the sleeve when the drag is adjusted.
Fly fishing reel with brake assembly and methods
A fishing reel and related method include a housing, a spool, and a brake assembly. The housing includes an external circumferential surface and an internal circumferential surface. The spool is configured to have a length of fishing line wound thereon, and is rotatable relative to the housing about a rotation shaft. The brake assembly is mounted to and rotatable with the spool. The brake assembly includes a plurality of pivotally mounted pawls. The plurality of pawls each include a contact surface arranged facing the internal circumferential surface. Rotation of the fishing reel upon the fishing line being pulled out of the fishing reel when a fish pulls on the fishing line causes a centrifugal force that moves the contact surface of the plurality of pawls into contact with the internal circumferential surface to reduce a rotational speed of the spool relative to the housing.

Drag lever and dual-bearing reel for fishing
A drag lever is configured to adjust a braking force of a drag mechanism configured to brake rotation of a spool, the drag lever including a mounting portion rotatably mounted on a reel body, an operation portion extending from the mounting portion in a radial direction of a pivot shaft and configured to swing in a first operation range, and an operation range adjustment member provided to the operation portion and configured to adjust the first operation range of the operation portion to a second operation range. This arrangement may suppress entanglement of a fishing line during fishing and adjusts the operation range of the drag lever.
