The present disclosure disclosed a magnetic braking mechanism which includes a spool, a magnet assembly arranged on a side of the spool for generating magnetic induction lines, and a magnetic braking assembly connected to the spool and including at least two metal plates and a centrifugal adjusting assembly. The metal plates are disposed between the magnet assembly and the spool, and the centrifugal adjusting assembly is used for automatically adjusting spacing between the metal plates and an axis of the spool according to a rotation speed of the spool, so as to adjust range of the magnetic induction lines cut by the metal plates, thereby automatically adjusting magnitude of a braking force. Further disclosed are a baitcast reel and a fishing tool.

A bait cast reel having a non-separating tension knob is proposed. The bait cast reel is configured to prevent separation of a tension knob from a reel body even if the tension knob is fully unwound and loosened, and includes: a reel body having a spool shaft rotatably installed thereon; a cylindrical frame coupled to an opening on a side of the reel body; a click plate rotatably coupled to the opening on a side of a frame; a control plate supporting the spool shaft and coupled to a through-hole of the click plate; a tension knob having a threaded portion that corresponds to a threaded portion of the frame; a protruding step formed on an outer end of a wing-shaped protrusion formed to face the flange of the control plate; and a ring-shaped locking step formed on an inner circumferential edge of the click plate.

A fishing reel includes a reel body that supports a spool so as to be rotatable, and a spool brake. The spool brake includes an operator and a braking force adjuster. The operator is configured to be rotatable and axially immovable with respect to the reel body, and has an internal space extending in an axial direction and opening axially outwardly. The braking force adjuster is disposed in the internal space and is configured to be axially movable with respect to the reel body in conjunction with rotation of the operator to adjust a braking force of the spool.

Provided is a fishing reel having a tension nut retainer and, more particularly, a fishing reel having a tension nut retainer that prevents a tension nut from separating from a nut seat by being locked to the structure of a frame when the tension nut is moved to an end of the nut seat in order to prevent loss of the tension nut that is used to adjust tension of a spool.

A fly-fishing reel having an integrated incremental meter device along with a modular weight system for customizing the weight of the fly-fishing reel in order for an angler to use the fly-fishing reel with a variety of fly rods and still maintain a desired balance point.
