FISHING REEL WITH A LINE TRANSFER MECHANISM
A fishing reel with a line transfer mechanism is provided. The line transfer mechanism includes a line transfer arm that toggles over a spool for selectively transferring a fishing line between a cast mode and a retrieve mode. A first end of the line transfer arm is pivoted to a reel body of the fishing reel. An eye member is disposed on the line transfer arm for passing the fishing line from and to the spool. The eye member is disposed substantially perpendicular to a direction of the fishing line in the cast and retrieve modes. An angled bend configured proximal to one or both of the first end and a second end of the line transfer arm allows the eye member to be disposed proximal to the fishing reel in the cast and retrieve modes while maintaining the eye member substantially perpendicular to the direction of the fishing line.

DUAL-BEARING REEL
A handle is rotatably attached to a first reel body. A second reel body has a cylindrical shape, and is an interval apart from the first reel body in an axial direction. A spool is disposed between the first reel body and the second reel body. A mount includes a mount surface facing in a first direction to contact the fishing rod when the dual-bearing reel is mounted to the fishing rod. The second reel body includes an outer peripheral surface and an outer lateral surface. The outer lateral surface faces outward in the axial direction, and the outer peripheral surface of the second reel body has a width narrower towards a first directional end of the second reel body than towards a second directional end of the second reel body. The second directional end is opposite to the first direction end.

Gear mechanism for a fishing reel
A gear mechanism for a fishing reel includes a drive gear, a handle, and a vibration damper. The drive gear includes a gear having a prescribed gear diameter, and a drive gear shaft rotated together with the gear and having a smaller dimension than the prescribed gear diameter. The handle rotates the drive gear shaft. The vibration damper is disposed between the drive gear shaft and the handle, and dampens the transmission of the vibration of the drive gear.
Fishing line reel with in-line payout control
A reel for fishing line or the like provides for extremely rapid payout by releasing the line to unwind by sliding rapidly around a guide surrounding the line spool and by rotation of the line spool itself. A handle extending rearwardly from the reel controls a line guide preventing sliding of the fishing line around the guide and providing controllable friction and locking of rotation of the line spool only when actuated by the user to permit retraction of the line or controlled tensioning of the line.
POLE-AND-LINE FISHING DEVICE
A pole-and-line fishing device includes a rotary drum, a drive motor, an electromagnetic clutch, an encoder for detecting direction and speed of rotation of the rotary drum, and a control unit for controlling the electromagnetic clutch. The drive motor can rotate the rotary drum in a forward winding direction until a load reaches a transmission torque, and when load exceeds the transmission torque, the drum can rotate in a reverse unwinding direction. In a reverse torque operation region, a winding torque is set to a preset Winding Force 2 Reference Rotation Speed relative to a Winding Force 1, and is changed based on a change of rotation speed of the drum. The ratio of winding torque increase/decrease is determined by a torque rising curve. The winding torque switches to Winding Force 3 to perform a constant torque operation when speed of the drum reaches Winding Force 3 Reference Rotation Speed.
