First and second pinching portions of the fishing line pinching portion connect with each other at a first end portion and form an annular shape to fit and support the fishing line. The elastic portion forms a rhombus shape and has first and second elastic portions respectively extending from the first and second pinching portions. First and second leading end portions of the leading end portion extend respectively from the first and second elastic portions to a second end portion and are adjacent to each other. The first and second leading end portions are joined to each other by a joining portion.

Apparatus for an attachment device for a fishing line. The attachment device includes an in-line snap and a piece of tackle. The in-line snap includes a shank, a bend, and a point. The bend extends from the shank and folds over to join the point at a gap portion where the bend contacts the shank. The point extends away from the shank, forming a channel to receive a continuous section of fishing line. A shaft extends between the shank and the piece of tackle. In various embodiments, a second in-line snap cooperates with the first in-line snap to support a piece of tackle between the two in-line snaps.

The fishing rod line threading device includes an elongate shaft with a diameter suitable for passing through the rod guides on a fishing pole, and a gripping member on one end for gripping a fishing line to retain the line while passing through the rod guides. The gripping member includes a space within which the fishing line is retained while the device is passed through the rod guides. Slight pressure is required to release the retained line from the space. Alternate embodiments of the gripping member are disclosed. One or more feed ramps may guide the line into the space, or the line may be inserted into the space and retained by a positionable sleeve.

The fishing rod line threading device includes an elongate shaft with a diameter suitable for passing through the rod guides on a fishing pole, and a gripping member on one end for gripping a fishing line to retain the line while passing through the rod guides. The gripping member includes a space within which the fishing line is retained while the device is passed through the rod guides. Slight pressure is required to release the retained line from the space. Alternate embodiments of the gripping member are disclosed. One or more feed ramps may guide the line into the space, or the line may be inserted into the space and retained by a positionable sleeve.

In described embodiments, a method of redirecting a track of a fishing lure on a fishing line. The fishing lure has a body, a fishing lure longitudinal axis extending along a length of the body, a line tie extending outwardly from the body, and a re-positioning mechanism mounted entirely inside the body and connected to the line tie. The re-positioning mechanism is activated by the fishing line. The method includes the steps of using a fishing pole, casting the fishing lure into a body of water; while the fishing lure is in the water, reeling in the fishing lure; and moving the line tie between a first position and a second position such that only the movement of the line tie between the first position and the second position changes a direction of travel of the fishing lure while the lure is being reeled in.
