An insect trap including a base having an upper end defining a cavity for receiving a removable bait cup. A main housing defining a plurality of openings is matable to the base in an upright position. The main housing defines a mounting structure for supporting a hanger for supporting an uncoiled roll of flypaper within the main housing. A spacer centers an uncoiled roll of flypaper within the main housing. An upper cap free from openings allowing passage of any incident water through the upper cap is matable with the upper end of the main housing. The insect trap is capable of free-standing outdoor use, outside of any enclosure or overhanging structure, while resisting penetration of rain/precipitation into the main housing. The base, main housing, hanger and upper cap are matable to define a weather-resistant enclosure for suspending flypaper within the main housing above the internal cavity of the base.

Insect trap device

A removable substrate for an insect attractant device includes a body having front and rear faces, a grip portion, and a base disposed opposite the grip portion. The removable substrate further includes a first lateral portion extending from the base, and a second lateral portion extending from the base. A projection extends outwardly from the base, lowermost ends of the first and second lateral portions are disposed below the projection, and an adhesive is applied to the front face and the rear face.

Plug-in insect trap with replaceable adhesive card

An insect trap connectable to an electrical wall outlet is provided that releasably receives a replaceable card for trapping insect to an adhesive material. A light bar emits light in a sideways direction rearward of the card while the fan blocks forward light to produce a glow that attract insects to the adhesive surface of the card. The card is supported in cantilever by the insect trap.

A bug-catching curtain system includes a plurality of curtains composed of adhesive material suspended from rigid framing material. A drive shaft is supported by the support structure. A plurality of primary cables extending out from a plurality of spindles that are mounted on the drive shaft. A plurality of support cables are attached to the primary cable and to the rigid framing material. The plurality of support cables suspend the plurality of curtains between rows of plants. A height at which the plurality of curtains are suspended is varied by using the turning the drive shaft to let out and to wind in the plurality of primary cables.

INSECT STICKY TRAP WITH CORRUGATED SURFACE
20230301291 · 2023-09-28 ·

An adhesive trap for entrapping pests such as insects such as flying or crawling insects, or other small creatures includes a corrugated panel defining a plurality of channels connected by convex peaks. For example, the corrugated panel, or a plurality of corrugated panels, may be configured and/or assembled to define a pillar or the like. A pressure sensitive adhesive is adhered only in the plurality of channels, such that the convex peaks of the corrugated panel are free of adhesive. The adhesive trap is effective at capturing target insects, and the adhesive-free outer portions facilitate handling of the traps without contacting the adhesive and reduces the risk and likelihood of inadvertently ensnaring or adhesively engaging larger, non-target creatures.
