Lanternfly trap
A bug trap apparatus suited for trapping and killing lanternflies is presented. More specifically, the present invention traps and kills lanternflies, specifically emplacing the present invention in nesting areas, feeding areas, or any other areas where lanternflies congregate. The bug trap apparatus comprises an enclosure, a mounting frame, and at least one capturing element. The at least one capturing element each comprises a trap body, a trap entrance, and a trap reservoir. The at least one capturing element is distributed about the mounting frame. The mounting frame is positioned within the enclosure. The trap entrance and the trap base are positioned terminally opposite to each other along the trap body. The trap reservoir is positioned within the trap body. The trap entrance traverses within the trap reservoir.

Insect Barrier Strip for Tree Trunks
An insect barrier strip that prevents targeted insects from climbing up a targeted tree. The insect barrier strip may contain insecticides that the targeted insects will encounter and kill. The insect barrier strip may be made of material(s) with a low coefficient of friction to provide a difficult surface for insects to traverse, that are flexible/expandable to enable the insect barrier strip to be wrapped around a tree trunk and expand over time as the trunk grows, are chemical resistant so insecticides will not degrade, and are capable of withstanding a wide range of environmental conditions. The insect barrier strip may include an overhang to make it more difficult for the targeted insects to get past. The insect barrier strip may include a trough that the insecticide can be located in or clips that insecticide can be secured to. A wick can be utilized to hold the insecticide.

ARTHROPOD AND MOLLUSC ARRANGEMENT
The invention discloses an arthropod and mollusc arrangement, which includes a band having an inner side adapted to be attached to a trunk of a tree; an outer side having a sticky surface and being adapted to trap crawling arthropod and molluscs trying to cross the band; and batting material attached to the inner side and being adapted to fill crevasses on the bark of the trunk of the tree in order to prevent arthropod and molluscs to crawl between the band and the trunk of the tree. The batting material may be adapted to fill the crevasses on the inner side as the band is tensioned when applied around the trunk of the tree. The crevasses may be closed by the batting material, the arthropod and molluscs are forced to cross over the outer side of the band and get trapped in the sticky surface.
