PACKABLE GAME EXTRACTION SLED
The presently disclosed apparatus is in the field of game sleds utilized to assist with game hauling after a successful hunt in remote areas. The game sled disclosed herein provides a hunter with a lightweight, durable sled, which can be attached to a hunter's pack and deployed to extract game that is downed in a remote area where vehicular transportation of the downed game is not allowed, or impossible. The Packable Game Extraction Sled disclosed herein is comprised of a novel tensioning means and spreader bar, which automatically configures the front end of the sled into a semi-rigid bow shape to aid in pulling the loaded sled over obstacles and through snow.
Wild game tote with interchangeable hunting tools
A multi-functional wild game tote that functions not only as a lightweight, convenient and compact carrier for one or more game animals such as birds, small mammals and fish harvested in the wild, but also as a multi-purpose tool having numerous interchangeable hunting tools useful when hunting wild game, especially wild turkeys. The carrier function of the wild game tote is provided by an ergonomically designed, elongate, rigid handle member having opposite ends and one or more cords extending through the handle member for carrying the harvested game. The multi-purpose tool function of the wild game tote is provided by hunting tools that are detachably mounted on both ends of the handle member such as a scale for weighing the harvested game, or a blade-sharpening stone for sharpening a hunter's knife. The tote also has hash markings on the handle member that denote the measurement of length.
Apparatus And Method Of Crossing A Barb Wire And Carrying Game
A barbed or razor wire crossing apparatus and system that enable the safe passage for a user either over or between barbed or razor wire. Also a game carrying kit that enables a hunter to field dress an animal and to prevent or greatly limit the spread or exposure of the hunted game's blood during transportation.
Animated decoy spreader
A device for spreading fowl decoys on the surface of a body of water. A hub sits below the surface is removably coupleable with up to four arm arrangements. Arm arrangements are jointed, allowing hub and arm arrangements to sit below the surface of the water while decoys float on surface. Hub is connected to an anchor on the bottom of the body of water, and can be displaced horizontally with a pull cord. Cords in the arm arrangements allow for near-random motion of attached decoys, simulating a swimming motion of fowl. Hub can be displaced vertically with a pull cord, causing the decoys to dip head first into the water, simulating a feeding motion of water fowl. Hubs can be combined by coupling arm arrangements from each hub. When displaced horizontally in the water, hubs not attached to the pull cord move semi-randomly, creating more random motion in decoys.
MOTORIZED GAME CART
A motorized cart with a frame, the frame having a floor, a first elongated side wall, a second elongated side wall, a rear wall, and a front wall that is hingedly connected to the floor. The cart includes a winch that is situated on the rear wall of the cart. A winch belt with a hook on the end of it extends forward from the rear wall. The cart has two wheels that are longitudinally aligned with one another so that one wheel is directly in front of the other wheel, and the wheels are centered longitudinally within the floor of the cart. The cart also has an electric motor that is powered by a battery and is operable in both forward and reverse gear.
Game securing mechanism for a backpack system
An apparatus includes an external frame of a backpack system and a game strap. The external frame includes a horizontal and vertical sections. The horizontal section is pivotably coupled to the bottom of the vertical section. The horizontal section rotates between a vertical position and a horizontal position. The horizontal section supports the vertical section in a vertical position when the horizontal section is in the horizontal position. A bottom of the game strap is coupled to an end of the horizontal section of the external frame. The end is distal to where the horizontal section pivotably couples to the vertical section. A top of the game strap is coupled to the vertical section of the external frame. The game strap includes openings sized to accommodate a snout of a head of an animal. The bottom or the top of the game strap are releasably coupled to the external frame.
Ladder tree stand dolly and method
Apparatus and method for transporting a section of a ladder tree stand or a stack of ladder tree stand sections and for transporting a harvested big game animal. The clamp is used for clamping the frame to a ladder tree stand section or sections so that a hunter can transport the ladder tree stand section or sections by pushing or pulling the ladder tree stand section or sections on the wheel of the frame.
Transportation apparatus for quarry and methods of using same
Systems and methods for transporting quarry. One apparatus includes a basket with webbing and a pair of handles, a coupler, and a stabilizer. The basket couples to the rear of a vehicle via the coupler and, optionally, a stabilizer installed on the vehicle. The method includes placing the basket into a substantially horizontal position, loading the basket with quarry, fixing the quarry into the basket via webbing, rotating the basket as needed to place the quarry in the proper position, and raising the quarry to a substantially vertical position relative to the back of the vehicle, optionally using the handles for leverage. Once positioned, the basket may be locked in place in a position in which the quarry is not in contact with the vehicle. The bagged game does not rest on the vehicle but remains in the basket in the vertical position behind the vehicle.
