An apparatus for use in decorating cookies, baked items or other items, comprising a thermoplastic rubber base piece; a piece of polyester silk component positioned on the thermoplastic rubber base piece; and an ABS plastic top piece, wherein the apparatus is configured to eliminate lifting of the stencil while airbrushing. When airbrushing food coloring through a stencil on to cookies or other items, the polyester silk screen presses the stencil against the item firmly and evenly across its entire surface. Further, the polyester silk screen slows the movement of air therethrough. These two properties both act to reduce an undesirable effect of the airbrushing process called under-spray, in which the airstream lifts the stencil off the cookie or other item slightly, blurring the edges of the stenciled image.

A disposable piping bag comprising a pair of side panels having joined side edges, the bag having a substantially conical configuration, the side edges extending downward to a sealed or unsealed tip and extending upward to an opening along upper edges incorporating an integral resealable closure in the side panels. The resealable closure has corresponding and adjacent lengths of a closure having one or more mating male ribs and female sealing channels on the side panels extending along a width of the bag opening. In one embodiment, the piping bag has a configuration with a substantially frusto-conical lower portion, a substantially cylindrical mid-portion, and a substantially frusto-conical upper portion.

A piping bag dispenser assembly includes a disk that has a receiver slot extending through the disk thereby facilitating a piping bag to be inserted through the receiver slot. A dispensing unit is rotatably integrated into the disk and the dispensing unit is aligned with the receiver slot. In this way the dispensing unit can frictionally engage the piping bag when the piping bag is inserted through the receiver slot. In this way the dispensing unit can urge icing outwardly through the piping bag for decorating a cake.

A double coupler nozzle system for sealing to a pair of flexible film bags (or to a double bag, i.e. three (3) triangles of film welded down the diagonals or a single piping bag which has been welded down the length) having a wider upper end and a conical lower end with an opening for flowable material inside the bag and for expressing the flowable material. The present invention further relates to a co-extruded tubular foil from which such a piping bag can be obtained and to a method for providing artwork and/or text on such a piping bag. According to the invention, the outer layer and the inner layer of the tubular foil are transparent and the intermediate layer of the tubular foil is partially transparent through a distribution of pigment additives in the intermediate layer that is non-uniform in at least a direction perpendicular to the axial direction.

A dispensing gun assembly includes a frame, a rod, a piston, a driver, a trigger, and a linkage. The rod slideably connects with the frame for linear movement with respect to the frame. The piston connects with the rod for movement with the rod. The driver selectively engages with the rod to move the rod in a linear direction when engaged with the rod. The trigger slideably connects with the frame. The linkage connects the trigger with the driver such that linear movement of the trigger with respect to the frame in a rearward direction results in the driver engaging the rod and linear movement of the rod and the piston in a forward direction.

A cooking apparatus used for filling and decorating of foods, comprising in some embodiments a one-piece, funnel-shaped bag with a soft side wall, having an open first end at the “top” through which food material and coloring agents can be inserted into the bag and a closed second end at the “bottom” end of the funnel, with an integral, malleable, conical shaped, discharge orifice. The orifice may have serrations or ridges extending inwardly from the internal wall of the orifice, running longitudinally or parallel to the cone axis. The orifice may be initially closed or manufactured with a small opening. The orifice may be made of a material capable of being cut to yield an exit opening. The inwardly extending serrations that remain after a cut may insure that the material is “treated” as it is expelled from the bag through the orifice to yield a ribbon candy design.

A kit for use in turning plain food material into a stream of food material with sides having different colors. The kit may include: a cylindrical tube that serves as both a packaging container and filling stand; a pastry bag which fits within the tube during shipping and storage and which can be suspended within the tube at a crucial position during use for striping, frosting filling and closing purposes; an output nozzle that fits within the pastry bag and, once the pastry bag is striped, filled with frosting and closed, serves to achieve the desired frosting material output shape; a tube of coloring gel; a coloring gel spreading stick; a closure clip; graphic instructions printed on the outside of the tube explaining the steps for using the kit; and a QR code that lets the user play a video showing how the kit components are used.
