The driving component is connected with the pressing component. The pressing component is provided above the material placing templates. Pressing blocks which are transversely and appositionally arranged are provided in the pressing component. The pressing bar is provided above the pressing blocks. The push plate is provided on a side of the material placing templates and is connected with the driving component and the pressing bar.

A method for preparing a food product, from a half chicken breast having a longitudinal axis, an outwardly facing surface, and an opposite surface, includes making cuts along cut lines oriented transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis, dividing the half chicken breast into first, second, third, and fourth transverse sectional pieces, each having a respective outward axially oriented surface formed from the outer facing surface, a respective inward axially oriented surface, and respective first and second transversely oriented surfaces oriented transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis. Respective inward axially oriented surfaces of the first and fourth transverse sectional pieces are aligned in facing engagement to form a first chicken-breast steak, and the second and third transverse sectional pieces form a second chicken-breast steak. The outward axially oriented surfaces form an axially oriented perimeter surface of each chicken-breast steak. A strip of bacon may wrap each perimeter surface.

A device for roasting a food item includes a stand having a frame adapted to be positioned on a surface of a cooking device. The frame includes an upper frame member. A food hanger is adapted to support the food item and engages the upper frame member in a removable fashion so that a majority of the food item is suspended below the upper frame member and above the surface of the cooking device when the frame is positioned thereon.

Disclosed herein is a hybrid skewer comprising an elongated rod that in turn comprises a handle portion and a skewer portion. The skewer portion and handle portion are separated by a circular shoulder element. The skewer portion comprises a plurality of raised longitudinal fins running the length of the skewer portion and the fins are of sufficient size to engage a food or non-food item and prevent the item from rotating about the axis of the skewer portion. The handle portion comprises a surface pattern, the surface pattern covering at least a portion of the circumference of the handle portion. The handle portion terminates in a tapered tip for facilitating the insertion of the handle portion into a support platform or base.

A roasting assembly is presented herein, configured to accept a removable food support. The assembly includes an elongated shaft, a handle, and a socket. The elongated shaft includes a first end and a second end. The handle is coupled the first end of the elongated shaft. The socket is coupled to the second end of the elongated shaft and comprises a hollow portion axially opposite the elongated shaft. The hollow portion of the socket accepts a removable food support.

The present invention relates to a device for composing a series of satays, being a series of food elements pierced by a skewer, comprising: a food surface for supporting food elements; at least one skewer holder, the skewer holder being provided with at least one skewer holder element suitable for temporarily gripping a skewer, the device comprising the following: a gripping arm with at least one food gripper, configured to pick up food elements from the food surface with the food gripper and to thread them onto a skewer in the skewer holder element.

An apparatus is disclosed for preparing a food article (300) such as a corn dog. The apparatus includes a frame (10) mounting a loading station (50), a dipping station (162), a frying station (190) and an unloading station (220). The loading station (50) inserts one end (306) of a stick (302) into the food article (300) and the other end (304) into an aperture (40) in a stick bar (38). The stick (302) and food article (300) are held in the aperture (40) by a spring loaded plunger (310) extending into the aperture (40). The spring loaded plunger (310) holds the stick (302) and food article (300) on the stick bar (38) while the food article (300) is dipped in batter at the dipping station (162) and fried at the frying station (190). The cooked food article (300) and stick (302) are removed from the stick bar (38) at the unloading station (220) for shipment to the customer.

An apparatus is disclosed for preparing a food article (300) such as a corn dog. The cooked food article (300) and stick (302) are removed from the stick bar (38) at the unloading station (220) for shipment to the customer.

A device for manufacturing a skewer. The device includes a mobile carriage mounted to slide on a frame between forward and rear positions, and vice versa. The mobile carriage includes a lower tray cooperating with an upper tray, the upper tray being mounted to move between opened and closed positions, the lower and upper trays having recesses forming a row of aligned cavities when the upper tray is closed and an orifice for passing a spike opening into the row. The device includes a spike reservoir and a mobile spike extractor configured to selectively take a spike from the reservoir and position the spike facing the orifice when the mobile carriage is in the rear position, and a synchronizer configured to synchronise the movement of the mobile spike extractor with the movement of the mobile carriage.
