System, Method, and Software for Managing Digital Animal Records
In certain embodiments, a method includes accessing, in response to a first user input and via an equine records storage system, digital equine records for equines that include equine data for the equines. The equine data includes equine inventory data, certification data, and health data. The method includes generating, according to the equine inventory data and health data, an equine inventory user interface that includes identifying information of a first equine and health information for the first equine. The method includes accessing, in response to a second user input and via the storage system, the equine certification data, and generating, according to the equine certification data, an equine certifications user interface that includes certifications of the first equine. The method includes receiving, via the equine inventory user interface, equine inventory update data, and, in response, transmitting an equine inventory update to the storage system for updating the equine inventory data.
Interchangeable hook-and-bracket system
An interchangeable hook-and-bracket system for a manufacturing process is disclosed. The interchangeable hook-and-bracket system may be configured to cooperate with a vertical conveying system of a food-processing system. Interchangeable hooks of the conveyor system may comprise hook portions and bracket portions that may be configured to releasably attach to one another. The bracket portions may be made substantially of a structurally robust material such as a metal and may be non-releasably attached to the conveyor system, and the hook portions may be made substantially of a flexible material such as a polymer-based material. More than one hook portion may correspond to a bracket portion, each hook portion having a configuration corresponding to a particular product, casing, throughput, and/or process condition.

Facilitating Traceability of Animal-Based Meat Products
In certain embodiments, a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium stores a program for execution by one or more processors that includes instructions for receiving a label-generating request for generating a machine-readable image file for an animal-based meat product that corresponds to a particular source animal. The program further includes instructions for accessing, in response to receiving the label-generating request, digital animal records for source animals to identify a digital animal record for the particular source animal. The digital animal records include animal information that includes identification information, location information, and health information for the source animals. The program further includes instructions for generating, based on the animal information of the digital animal record for the particular source animal, a machine-readable image file for the particular source animal that, when decoded, makes available meat facts regarding the particular source animal, and for transmitting the machine-readable image file to a requesting device.

System, Method, and Software for Managing Digital Animal Records
In certain embodiments, a method includes accessing, in response to a first user input and via a storage system, digital animal records that include animal data (including inventory and health data) for animals; and generating, according to the inventory data, an inventory user interface (UI) that includes identifying information of a first portion of the animals. The method includes accessing, in response to a second user input and via the storage system, the health data and generating, according to the health data, a health records UI for managing the health records and that includes medical records of a second portion of the animals. The method includes receiving, via the inventory UI, inventory update data and, in response, transmitting an inventory update to the storage system. Rotary introducer
A rotary introducer is provided for introducing a trackable element and/or contaminant onto a flow path of a food-transit system without adjusting a flowrate. The introducer comprises an inlet and an outlet which is communicable with a food-transit conduit; and a pair of rotatable driving/drivable members. In a trackable-element receiving condition, the inlet is open to receive a trackable element in the device cavity, and the outlet is closed by at least one of the driving/drivable member. However, in a discharge condition, the outlet is open such that a trackable-element discharge force is directed radially inwardly through the outlet to discharge the trackable element from the device cavity, thus enabling outlet to close. A food-transit system using the rotary introducer and a method of introducing a trackable element and/or contaminant into food-transit system without adjusting a flowrate of foodstuffs therethrough are also provided.
