INFINITELY VARIABLE FOOD WASHER AND METHOD THEREOF
20230056911 · 2023-02-23 ·

A washing machine with an infinitely variable pump is provided. The infinite variable pump is a fluid pump with pumping speeds which are uncountably infinite, in such that it has a maximum value and a minimum value for its pumping speed, but is otherwise configured to allow a user to select any pumping speed of the uncountable set between these pre-set limits. The pump may utilize a variable frequency drive (VFD). The VFD uses an inverter duty motor instead of a normal induction motor. The VFD is incorporated within the pump. The VFD is wired into the pump motor circuit between the machine power switch and the motor. Such a configuration allows for a ground-up build of a washing machine incorporating the infinitely variable pump or a retrofitting of an existing wash tank to incorporate the infinitely variable pump.

A system may include a circulation subsystem and a circuit coupled to the circulation subsystem. The circuit may provide one or more signals to control the circulation subsystem to circulate a treatment solution including one or more of microbubbles or nanobubbles in a selected ratio. In one aspect, the nanobubbles may include a first gas, and the microbubbles may include a second gas. In another aspect, the treatment solution may include a first percentage of nanobubbles and a second percentage of microbubbles. In another aspect, mechanical agitation can be applied to the solution on an object to assist in cleaning.

Sanitary food washing stage in food production

Methods and systems are described for providing improved food processing systems by treating wash water in a wash stage of the food processing system with a biocide. Sufficient biocide may be added to significantly reduce the levels of bacteria in the wash stage, which can prevent problems associated with bacteria in downstream processes.

HYDROXYETHYL CELLULOSE DERIVATIVE FOAM CONTROL AGENTS AND METHODS OF PROCESSING FOODSTUFFS

Cellulose derivatives comprising a hydroxyethyl group, such as hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose, are used as foam control agents in foodstuff processing. The cellulose derivatives are biodegradable while still providing excellent foam control capacity. In addition, cellulose derivatives foam control agents of the disclosure can be used with various apparatus while avoiding forming films that otherwise affect apparatus function. The cellulose derivatives can be used at various stages during industrial processing of vegetables (e.g., potatoes and beets) and fruits.

Rotary screw blancher with fluid passage and fluid agitation

A food processing apparatus including a tank having an inlet end for receiving food product and an outlet end for discharging food product, the tank having an inner wall defining a compartment and including a solid, imperforate wall portion, fluid being contained in the compartment, and a rotatable auger mounted in the compartment, the auger for advancing food product within the compartment from the inlet end toward the outlet end, the auger including flights having a flight wall with a radial edge, a clearance space being defined between the radial edge of the flights and the solid, imperforate wall portion of the inner wall. Flow of fluid through the clearance space may be inhibited. One of the inner wall and the flight wall may include a perforated wall portion. Flow of fluid between the first auger section and the second auger section may be provided through the perforated wall portion.

ALKYL ETHER AMINE FOAM CONTROL COMPOUNDS AND METHODS OF PROCESSING FOODSTUFFS

Alkyl ether amines are used as foam control compounds in foodstuff processing. The alkyl ether amines can be used at various stages during industrial processing of vegetables, fruits, and plants, such as potatoes and beets. The alkyl ether amines are generally of lower molecular weights and therefore easily transported to the foam layer to break the foam structure. Further, the alkyl ether amines are water soluble and therefore can be readily removed from the food processing system.

Animal water dispenser apparatus and process for providing fresh water to an animal

An animal water dispenser apparatus has a container with an inlet opening and an outlet opening, and a water hose connected to the inlet opening. The inlet opening is positioned below the outlet opening. The water hose is adapted to pass fresh water into an interior of the container. The outlet opening is adapted to allow water from the interior of the container to be released outwardly of the container. A fresh water source can be connected to the water hose so as to pass fresh water under pressure through the water hose and into the interior of the container.

WASHER PEELER CLEANING SYSTEM

An apparatus for cleaning a food-processing machine having cylindrical rolls disposed along a curve, each of the rolls having a peripheral working surface for contacting food products and an axis about which each roll rotates. A drive rail is mounted parallel to the axes of the rolls and extends the length of the rolls. A spray bar slidably mounts to the drive rail, extends adjacent the rolls, and has at least one nozzle for spraying liquid onto the working surfaces of the rolls to clean them of debris. A prime mover drives the spray bar along the drive rail parallel to the axes of the rolls while spraying the rotating rolls.
