POPULATION OF PARTICLES FOR USE IN A NON-COMBUSTIBLE AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
The invention relates to a population of particles for use in a non-combustible aerosol provision system, wherein each particle comprises (i) a binder, (ii) an absorbent, wherein the absorbent comprises silica or a silicate, and (iii) an aerosol-generating material, wherein the population of particles has a bulk density of between about 0.5 and about 1.1 g.Math.cm.sup.−3 or wherein the median particle size, D50, is between about 1 mm and about 2 mm. The invention also relates to a cartridge for use in a non-combustible aerosol provision system, to a non-combustible aerosol provision system and to a method of manufacturing the particles.
ARTICLE FOR USE IN A NON-COMBUSTIBLE AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
An article for use in a non-combustible aerosol provision system includes an aerosol-generating section with a plurality of strands and/or strips of aerosol-generating material. The aerosol-generating section is circumscribed by a moisture impermeable wrapper and a cooling section is provided directly adjacent to the aerosol-generating section. The cooling section can have at least one of a hollow channel having an internal diameter of between about 1 mm and about 4 mm or a maximum of 32% of the cross-sectional area of the cooling section being a hollow channel. A non-combustible aerosol provision system is also described.
Tobacco having reduced tobacco specific nitrosamine content
The present document generally relates to methods and materials involved in producing tobacco or smokeless tobacco product comprising chlorate. For example, chlorate can be used to reduce tobacco specific nitrosamine content in tobacco or smokeless tobacco products.
Gamma cyclodextrin flavoring-release additives
Electrically heated cigarettes used in an electrical smoking system include a flavoring-release additive and sorbent effective to remove one or more gas-phase constituents of mainstream tobacco smoke. The flavoring-release additive includes gamma cyclodextrin and at least one flavoring. Flavoring is released in a cigarette upon the flavoring-release additive reaching at least a minimum temperature during smoking. The flavoring-release additive can have various forms including, for example, powder and films.
Herbage Having a Reflective Coating
Herbage such as trimmed Cannabis flowers have a reflective coating that sparkles and improves shelf life. The invention includes a first coating of a first Cannabis plant extract including at least 60%-98% Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) that forms a hardened layer on the dried herbage to mechanically preserve the shape of the herbage and enables handling and grinding of the herbage. A second coating of a second Cannabis plant extract, including at least 90-99% Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCa) forms crystals, or “diamonds”, that are embedded in the first coating to improve aesthetics by reflecting light. The crystals improve shelf life by reducing absorption of light by the herbage. The weight sum of the combined coatings are in a particular ratio to the herbage. This ratio is between 1:4 and 2:1 on a weight to weight basis to cause the herbage to sparkle, to improve shelf life, and to enable grinding without sticking.
Fabric having tobacco entangled with structural fibers
A smokeless tobacco product includes smokeless tobacco and structural fibers. The structural fibers forming a network in which the smokeless tobacco is entangled. The structural fibers have a composition different from the smokeless tobacco. The tobacco-entangled fabric can have an overall oven volatiles content of at least 10 weight percent. In some embodiments, the structural fibers form a nonwoven network. In some embodiments, fibrous structures of the smokeless tobacco are entangled with the structural fibers.

Smokeless tobacco pastille
A smokeless tobacco pastille configured for insertion into the mouth of a user is provided. The smokeless tobacco pastille can include (i) a tobacco material present in an amount of less than about 40 dry weight percent, based on the total dry weight of the pastille; (ii) at least one natural gum binder present in an amount of at least about 25 dry weight percent; and (iii) a plurality of sugar alcohols present in a total amount of at least about 40 dry weight percent, the predominant component of the plurality of sugar alcohols being isomalt or erythritol, wherein the shape of the smokeless tobacco pastille is moldable in the oral cavity.

Homogenized tobacco material with improved volatile transfer
There is provided a heated aerosol-generating article for producing an inhalable aerosol, the heated aerosol-generating article including: an aerosol-forming substrate that is a homogenized tobacco material including tobacco, a fat having a melting point between 20° C. and 50° C., and one or more aerosol-formers, the homogenized tobacco material containing at least 60% tobacco on a dry weight basis. A homogenized tobacco material is also provided.
