A cigarette assembly machine that accepts loose shredded plant material (“SPM”) and cigarette blanks that include a filter and an empty SPM holding portion and produces cigarettes. The machine has an SPM slug forming mechanism, adapted to accept loose SPM and form it into a slug of SPM in the shape of the SPM holding portion and a cigarette blank accepting and holding mechanism, adapted to hold the cigarette blank. Further, a shaft and a two-stroke shaft moving assembly is adapted to push the SPM slug into the holding portion. Finally, the shaft includes a solid distal push tip, an intermediate brush, and a proximal shaft, whereby as the shaft is moved through its strokes, the intermediate brush scrubs the SPM slug forming mechanism.

A system for compacting cannabis in a cannabis cone comprises i) a cone gripper that is movable between an open position and a closed position around the cannabis cone; wherein, while in the closed position, the cone gripper applies pressure onto the cannabis cone that is sufficient to hold the cannabis cone; ii) a compaction rod, having a tip, for compacting cannabis in the cannabis cone, the compaction rod being reciprocable along an axis between a retracted position, wherein the tip is out of the cannabis cone, and an extended position, wherein the tip is inserted in the cannabis cone; and iii) a protective collar that is movable within the cannabis cone, coaxially thereof, near the open top thereof, so as to define a barrier between the compaction rod and the cannabis cone when the compaction rod reciprocates in the cannabis cone.

An apparatus for preparing a smokeable product is provided. The apparatus includes an upper chamber configured to receive feed material, a feed material cutting mechanism comprising a size reducer configured to rotate in two directions, a motor configured to rotate the feed material cutting mechanism, a controller configured to selectively reverse direction of rotation of the feed material cutting mechanism, a power source configured to drive the motor, a switch for turning the power source off and on, and a fan in the uppermost chamber configured to move feed material within the uppermost chamber to a lowermost chamber.

An apparatus for preparing a smokeable product is provided. The apparatus includes an upper chamber configured to receive feed material, a feed material cutting mechanism comprising a size reducer configured to rotate in two directions, a motor configured to rotate the feed material cutting mechanism, a controller configured to selectively reverse direction of rotation of the feed material cutting mechanism, a power source configured to drive the motor, a switch for turning the power source off and on, and a fan in the uppermost chamber configured to move feed material within the uppermost chamber to a lowermost chamber.

A device for automated loading and forming smoking articles has a conveyer unit holding and moving a plurality of conical paper wrappers. A dispensing unit is coupled to and positioned above the conveyer unit. The dispensing unit stores pre-grounded tobacco leaf/herbs, loads a predetermined amount of the pre-grounded tobacco leaf/herbs into a designated conical paper wrapper of the plurality of conical paper wrappers, and compacts the pre-grounded tobacco leaf/herbs loaded into the designated conical paper wrapper. The conveyer unit moves the designated conical paper wrapper to a desired location under the dispensing unit to load and compact the predetermined amount of the pre-grounded tobacco leaf/herbs into the designated conical paper wrapper. The conveyer unit then moves a next conical paper wrapper to the desired location after the dispensing unit loads and compacts the predetermined amount of the pre-grounded tobacco leaf/herbs into the designated conical paper wrapper.

The device further comprises a mixing chamber (5) for mixing the herbs and/or tobacco and/or spices, which is located below the grinding chamber (2), a mixing unit (4) located in the mixing chamber (5), at least one door (7) on the carousel cover (8) for dispensing one tube (9) or a plurality of tubes (9) with the filled pre-rolled cigarette paper (17), wherein the carousel (10) comprises a plurality of tube holders (14) for holding the tubes (9). Device for grinding and mixing of herbs and/or tobacco and/or spices, preparing and dispensing of cigarettes and method for the application thereof The subject of the invention is a device for grinding and mixing of herbs and/or tobacco and/or spices, preparing and dispensing of cigarettes, the device comprising a grinding chamber (2) for holding and grinding the herbs and/or tobacco and/or spices, wherein the grinding chamber (2) has a plurality of tubes (9) for holding pre-rolled cigarette papers (17) and receiving ground herbs and/or tobacco and/or spices, a carousel (10), which is rotatable around a central axis (16). The device further comprises a mixing chamber (5) for mixing the herbs and/or tobacco and/or spices, which is located below the grinding chamber (2), a mixing unit (4) located in the mixing chamber (5), at least one door (7) on the carousel cover (8) for dispensing one tube (9) or a plurality of tubes (9) with the filled pre-rolled cigarette paper (17), wherein the carousel (10) comprises a plurality of tube holders (14) for holding the tubes (9). The technology described herein generally relates to particular form of folded package and the method of forming that folded package. The package packages loose particles into a conical container and secures the filling with a folded distal end.
