SMOKING FILTRATION DEVICES, METHODS, AND SYSTEMS
The subject disclosure relates to a device for smoking and filtering smoke. In an aspect, the device can comprise an outer sleeve component, a detachable mouthpiece assembly, an ignition chamber assembly, and a detachable filtration assembly.
CIGARETTES AND CIGARETTE FILTERS INCLUDING ACTIVATED CARBON FOR REMOVING NITRIC OXIDE
Filters and cigarettes include an activated carbon sorbent capable of selectively removing nitric oxide from mainstream tobacco smoke. Methods for making cigarette filters and cigarettes using the activated carbon sorbent and methods for treating mainstream tobacco smoke produced by smoking a cigarette including the sorbent are also provided.
Combustible Smoking Filter
An article for use with a smoking device that is configured to be insertable into a chamber defined in the smoking device. The article includes an air-permeable filter member that comprises plant-based material that permits a user to combust a smoking device's contents. Upon combustion of a smoking device's contents, the combustible smoking filter may also combust and be smoked.
Cigarette filter containing alginite
The invention relates to a cigarette filter. In particular, the present invention relates to a new cigarette filter, in which materials of natural origin are used that have not been applied in this special field before. More particularly, the present invention relates to a cigarette filter, which can be used for absorbing the toxic components of cigarette smoke, and lowering the tissue damage triggered by cigarette smoke on the respiratory organs, the cardiovascular system and the mucosa. Especially the present invention relates to a cigarette filter containing alginate.
Smoking article comprising aerogel
A smoking article is provided that includes an aerogel, which can be optionally impregnated with a catalytic metal compound or can optionally be coated with at least one aerosol-forming material and a flavoring agent. The smoking article comprises various segments such as a heat generation segment, an aerosol-generation segment, and a mouth end. The aerogel can be placed near or within any of these segments. The presence of the aerogel can reduce the concentration of certain gaseous components of mainstream smoke generated during use of a smoking article incorporating a heat generation segment containing a fuel element.
CONSUMABLE FOR AN AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
A consumable for use in a non-combustible aerosol provision system including an aerosol-generating segment having at least one aerosol-generating material and a mouthpiece segment including a section of an amorphous solid material. It also relates to a non-combustible aerosol provision system, a method for producing a consumable, and use of a section of an amorphous solid material.
TOBACCO ROD, AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE INCLUDING THE SAME, AND AEROSOL GENERATION DEVICE USED THEREWITH
A tobacco rod, an aerosol-generating article including the same, and an aerosol generation device used with the aerosol-generating article are provided. The tobacco rod according to some embodiments of the present disclosure may include a first filter segment, a second filter segment, and a cavity segment which is formed by the first filter segment and the second filter segment and filled with a tobacco material. Here, at least one of the first filter segment and the second filter segment may include a paper material that is grease-resistant or water-resistant. Accordingly, a problem that vapor production is decreased due to moisture absorption from components of smoke can be addressed, and a heat-resistant tobacco rod can be manufactured.
Fibers with chemical markers used for coding
Disclosed are fibers which contain identification fibers. The identification fibers can comprise one or more chemical markers, or taggants, which may vary among the fibers or be incorporated throughout all of the fibers. The disclosure also relates to the method for making and characterizing the fibers. Characterization of the fibers can include identifying chemical markers and correlating the chemical markers and a taggant chemical marker amounts of at least one of the chemical markers to manufacturer-specific taggants to determine supply chain information. The supply chain information can be used to track the fibers from manufacturing through intermediaries, conversion to final product, and/or the consumer.
Smokeless cigarette having decreased vapor temperature and preventing heat-caused collapse of cigarette holder
A smokeless cigarette having a decreased vapor temperature and preventing the heat-caused collapse of a cigarette holder comprises a filter tip, a heat-resistant hollow section and a tobacco section sequentially connected, wherein the heat-resistant hollow section consists of a heat-resistant hollow section cover and a heat-resistant hollow section hollow layer. The heat-resistant hollow section is made by rolling a high-temperature resistant material into a hollow tubular structure; the high-temperature resistant material forms the heat-resistant hollow section cover. The heat-resistant hollow section hollow layer is a cavity structure formed and surrounded by the heat-resistant hollow section cover. An inner layer of the heat-resistant hollow section cover is coated with a layer of phase-change heat-absorbing material, or the heat-resistant hollow section hollow layer is filled with a phase-change heat-absorbing material.
Filter element for tobacco products, the filter element having a capsule containing a liquid medium comprising at least one surfactant as core material
The present invention relates to a filter element for use in a tobacco article, the filter element having at least one filter body and at least one capsule with a liquid medium as core material, wherein the liquid medium of the core material contains at least one surfactant.
