Chilling water pipe and method of use
A water pipe that cools down smoke or vapor in a water pipe or other smoking apparatus for the user. The water pipe includes a base having an extended bottom surface, a base insert and a top assembly, whereby the top assembly includes a downstem and a mouthpiece. A cooling solution is poured into the base container and the base insert is bonded or otherwise coupled to the base container such that the cooling solution remains in between the base container and base insert. The water pipe is put in a freezer or cooling source for a specified amount of time, and thereafter the base insert is filled with water. Once filled with water, the top assembly is inserted on top of the base insert. Tobacco, medicinal herbs, and/or oils are placed in a bowl or other apparatus connected to the downstem with one end submerged in water and one end exposed to ambient air. As the smoke or vapor percolates and passes through the water pipe the smoke or vapor is cooled down.

Butane-free smoking device
A smoking device which permits combustion and inhalation of smoking material without also inhaling gases from a source of combustion such as lighter. The smoking device has a main body with a lower end adapted to connect to an overall smoking system. A lower portion of the main body defines internal flow channels, while an upper portion defines a smoking chamber therein. A burn plate or disc is clamped against an inner ledge in the lower end of the smoking chamber which is enclosed by a lid having an air inlet. The smoking chamber may house a manifold member which clamps the burn plate against an inner ledge. A user places smoking material on the burn plate and closes the smoking chamber with the lid. While applying a lighter flame directed into the lateral throughbore to the underside of the burn plate, the user applies suction to the lower inhalation passageway which pulls air in through the air inlet in the lid. Combustion of the smoking material creates smoke which is ported through the smoking device to the user without pulling in any of the gases from the lighter flame.

SMOKING PIPES AND RELATED METHODS
A smoking pipe includes a bowl defining an interior chamber for holding a quantity of combustible substance. The bowl has an upper opening and optional lower opening. A stem extends from the bowl to define an interior airway with an opening proximate a distal end of the stem. The optional lower opening and interior airway are in gaseous communication with the interior chamber of the bowl. An example pipe has its bowl shaped to allow the pipe to be received in a bowl-stem of a waterpipe with the interior chamber of the bowl in gaseous communication with an airway of the bowl-stem via the lower opening of the bowl. Another example pipe has its upper and stem openings sealed to maintain freshness of pre-loaded cannabis. The pipe may be made of corncob and may be disposable. More broadly, a vessel for both storage of cannabis and consumption thereof is disclosed.
Electronic smoking device with liquid reservoir including an actuator
An electronic smoking device includes a battery portion including an electric power supply, an atomizer/liquid reservoir portion having a mouthpiece opening in an end, and a liquid reservoir adapted for accommodating a liquid. The electronic smoking device further includes an atomizer arranged at a first end face of the liquid reservoir and operable when connected to the power supply to atomize liquid to create an aerosol, wherein the atomizer comprises a plurality of openings adapted for providing the aerosol, and an actuator movable inside the liquid reservoir towards the first end face and adapted for supplying liquid to the plurality of openings.
