A distribution connector and a drawstring allow the user to raise and lower the genital-receiving pouch. The genital-receiving pouch is centrally integrated into a front panel of the lower body undergarment with a top end being positioned adjacent to a waistband of the lower body undergarment. The distribution connector is connected to a bottom end of the genital-receiving pouch, in between a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge of the genital-receiving pouch. The drawstring is positioned adjacent to a top end of the genital-receiving pouch with a first end of the drawstring being connected to a waistband of the lower body undergarment. A second end of the drawstring being terminally connected to the distribution connector.

A method of forming a resilient band for an article of apparel includes stretching a first fabric having a first resiliency to a first stretched position and stretching a second fabric having a second resiliency to a second stretched position. The second resiliency is greater than the first resiliency. The method further includes securing the first fabric to the second fabric while the first fabric is in the first stretched position and while the second fabric is in the second stretched position. Moreover, the method includes releasing the first fabric from the first stretched position and the second fabric from the second stretched position after securing the first fabric to the second fabric.
