Specific manifestations of a sensing system incorporated in a sock substrate are described in detail. Dedicated electronic devices interface electrically with sensors through intermediate conductive traces, optional conductive bridges, conductive contacts provided in a mounting tab.

An orthotic device with an integrated compression knee sleeve that is less prone to slippage includes a waistband configured to encircle a wearer's waist; a seat portion and a front portion attached below the waistband to encircle the wearer's seat and crotch; a first leg portion attached below the seat portion and the front portion to partially cover a first leg of the wearer; and a second leg portion attached below the seat portion and the front portion to partially cover a second leg of the wearer. The second leg portion includes the integral compression knee sleeve, which encircles the wearer's knee to exert compressive forces on the knee.

A bodysuit includes a torso piece configured to cover at least a portion of a torso of a user, and a gusset piece removably attachable to the torso portion and configured to cover a crotch area of the user such that the gusset piece is removable from the torso piece.

A bodysuit, the front torso being a continuous piece of material with spaces for arms. The present invention relates to a compression garment designed to be worn by women, pregnant or post-partum, for body-shaping and/or after an injury or surgery. The compression garment comprises a plurality of hooks or clips sewn to the garment to which a plurality of straps are attached. The straps are grasped by a user to easily pull on and off the garment. The straps can be stored in a pocket disposed in the garment for a seamless appearance. The compression garment has a removable crotch region to be removed when a user uses a restroom, thereby eliminating removal of the entire compression garment.

The present invention is directed to a shapewear garment, a shapewear garment system, and methods of manufacture thereof. The shapewear garments are configured to provide various levels of compression on the body of a wearer for shaping desired areas of the wearer's body. In an exemplary embodiment, the shapewear garment system is formed of two shapewear garments, with one of the shapewear garments being applied on the body of the wearer first for conditioning the body of the wearer to receive the other of the shapewear garments over the one shapewear garment in overlapping relationship thereof.

A backless support bra for supporting a wearer's breasts utilizing cups and various straps particularly configured to provide an unobstructed view of the wearer's back, thus enabling the wearer to wear backless type garments over the inventive backless support bra. Some of the described versions of the backless support bra further support the wearer's breasts in a manner that provides an unobstructed view of the wearer's center chest area, thus enabling the wearer the wear a garment that has a low cut or plunging neckline.
