SENSORS, INTERFACES AND SENSOR SYSTEMS FOR DATA COLLECTION AND INTEGRATED MONITORING OF CONDITIONS AT OR NEAR BODY SURFACES
Sensing devices including sensors such as flexible and stretchable fabric-based pressure sensors, may be associated with or incorporated in garments, such as socks, intended to be worn against a body surface (directly or indirectly). Specific manifestations of a sensing system incorporated in a sock substrate are described in detail. Dedicated electronic devices interface electrically with sensors through intermediate conductive traces, optional conductive bridges, conductive contacts provided in a mounting tab.
THERAPEUTIC BRASSIERE GARMENT
The present invention relates to a therapeutic brassiere garment for healing or easing breast pain related to breastfeeding, surgery, menstruation, childbirth and more. The therapeutic brassiere garment features front panels with cups for covering and supporting breasts. Each front panel includes a pocket for holding a therapeutic pad. The therapeutic pad can be put in a microwave for heating and/or in a refrigerator/freezer for cooling and can then be accommodated in the pockets of the garment for providing hot and/or cold therapy. The garment comes in different sizes and styles available for pain relief due to any type of condition. Each pocket includes three sewn sides and an opening for preventing the therapeutic pad from slipping into inappropriate or uncomfortable positions while wearing the brassiere garment.
Wearable Assembly Comprising a Wearable Article and an Electronics Module
The wearable article 200 comprises a sensing component. The electronics module 100 is removably coupled to the wearable article 200. The electronics module comprises a housing and a processor disposed within the housing 101. An interface element 121, 123 interfaces with the sensing component so as to receive signals from the sensing component and provide the same to the processor. A sensor 105 is disposed within the housing 101. The sensor 105 monitors a property of the environment external to the electronics module 100 through the housing 101. The housing 101 is constructed such that the sensor 105 has line of sight through the housing 101.
Smart Bra for Optical Scanning of Breast Tissue to Detect Abnormal Tissue with Selectively-Expandable Components to Reduce Air Gaps
This invention is a smart bra for optical scanning of breast tissue which has light emitters which transmit light into breast tissue, light receivers which receive the light after it has been transmitted through the breast tissue, and expandable components which selectively move light emitters and/or receivers closer to the surface of a breast where there are air gaps.
TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED SYSTEM FOR RECONSTRUCTED AND AUGMENTED BREASTS
A temperature controlled garment or bra system can be integral with a bra or a separate thermal insert that can be coupled to any type of garment. The thermal insert having one or more thermal zones or regions that are configured to form a temperature gradient for different breast regions for the purpose of having a uniform breast implant temperature.
Therapeutic bra
A therapeutic bra including a body portion having a front, a back, a first side, second side, a first cup, and a second cup; the front and the back are connected at the first and second sides, the first cup including a first opening for receiving a first nipple of a user therethrough; the second cup including a second opening for receiving a second nipple of the user therethrough; a flap coupled to the first cup and configured to selectively conceal or expose the first opening; a second flap coupled to the second cup and configured to selectively conceal or expose the second opening; and a first heating apparatus comprising a first heating loop operably connected to a power source and a controller disposed on the body portion; and first and second heating loops associated with the respective cup, the side, the front, and/or flap.
Apparatus for massaging human breast
The present invention A massaging apparatus for human breast, said apparatus comprised of: an electrical pump, a bra having: at least two inflatable tubes having two opening at their edges integrated at each side of the bra encircling one breast organ, wherein each inflatable tube is connected by T shape connector, wherein through pipe to the electronic pump and control module for controlling the inflation of the tubes; wherein the tube are inflated simultaneous at both edges creating dual simultaneous pressure at different size of the breast organ.
Post-Surgical Recovery Bra
The invention relates to a post-surgical recovery garment. The garment is configured as a bra. The bra is comprised of a right breast sling and a left breast sling. Each breast sling includes a cupped portion. The cupped portions are configured to cup the breast of the user when worn. Each breast sling also includes a shoulder strap that extends from the cupped portion and is configured to go over the user's opposite shoulder. The shoulder straps each include a shoulder strap attachment that extends from an end of the shoulder strap that is farthest from the cupped portion. The shoulder strap attachment portions are configured to attach to fastening portions located on a rear panel of the bra. The rear panel extends from the cupped portion of the right breast sling, across the user's back when worn, to the cupped portion of the left breast sling. The bra also includes a thoracic band. The thoracic band attaches below the back panel and below the right and left breast slings. The thoracic band is configured to go around the user's torso when worn. Additionally, the thoracic band includes a first front closure and a second front closure.
RIGIDIFYING BRACE
A passive stent for retaining an organ in an expanded state configured to adhere and substantially conform to an external surface of the organ may include an inner layer, an outer layer, and a middle layer that is enclosed by the inner layer and the outer layer, comprising a plurality of components configured to interlock and maintain the organ in an expanded state upon application of a vacuum. A method for retaining an organ in an expanded state may include applying at least one force to the organ to place the organ in the expanded state; applying a passive stent to an external surface of the organ; and applying a vacuum to the passive stent sufficient to cause a plurality of components of at least one layer of the passive stent to interlock, where the at least one layer is configured to maintain the organ in the expanded state after interlocking.
Surgical modesty garment and support bra
A modular brassiere that serves as both a modesty garment and an easily-donned support garment. The modular bra includes an elongated support band that is preferably made of elastic material. Hook-and-loop type of engaging panels are used to secure the band around the user's chest. A separate strap assembly may be added to transfer load to one or more of the user's shoulders. The support band includes a proximal end and a distal end. A pocket is preferably included, proximate the distal end. The user can place one or more fingers into this pocket to assist in donning the device. A grip panel is preferably included as well. The grip panel includes a strap loop which the user can employ to also assist in donning the device.
