New body supporting and enhancing garment techniques are provided. In some embodiments, new types of bras and other garments are provided, along with new sizing systems for fitting them to person's bodies. For example, a new form of bra having a reversible front fastener and a plurality of back bands provided in an under/over configuration, directly abutting one another, and having no gap, or substantially no gap between them. In other embodiments, shoulder straps are provided with location-variable, reversible attachment ends, having reversible fasteners, which engage with the back of a main body of the bra at a plurality of possible attachment positions.

A brassiere configured for operation by wearers of limited dexterity, such as those with limited use of fingers, hands, wrists, arms, and/or shoulders. The brassiere may include a shoulder support element which may provide support to the wearer's torso and breasts without requiring strain to be placed on both hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders when fastening the brassiere.

A brassiere configured for operation by wearers of limited dexterity, such as those with limited use of fingers, hands, wrists, arms, and/or shoulders. A modular brassiere that serves as both a modesty garment and an easily-donned support garment. The modular bra includes an elongated support band that is preferably made of elastic material. Hook-and-loop type of engaging panels are used to secure the band around the user's chest. A separate strap assembly may be added to transfer load to one or more of the user's shoulders. The support band includes a proximal end and a distal end. A pocket is preferably included, proximate the distal end. The user can place one or more fingers into this pocket to assist in donning the device. A grip panel is preferably included as well. The grip panel includes a strap loop which the user can employ to also assist in donning the device.

A garment, such as a bra, may include a frame, support structure, casing and/or housing. The frame may be adapted to fit underneath a wearer's breasts and partially wrap around her torso. The support structure be coupled to the frame and may include a volumetric cup positioned thereon, which may be a cantilever projection from the frame adapted so that a portion of a wearer's breasts may be inserted therein. The frame and/or support structure may be encased in a casing. Casing may increase the size of volumetric cup to cover a larger portion of the wearer's breast. Casing may also provide padding or other mechanisms to increase the comfort of wearing the frame, support structure, and/or casing for the wearer. The casings (one for each side of the wearer) may be housed in a housing that wraps around the wearer's torso thereby enabling the wearer to wear the garment.
