Athletic bra
An athletic bra includes a support panel shaped to include first and second cups. Grooves are formed into the panel to provide areas of increase flexure and/or stretch. A textile layer can be secured to the support panel.
High impact and high support bras
Bras for high impact, high support activities are provided. A bra comprises a band that wraps around a torso. The band includes first and second cup regions, and a channel that runs below the collective cup regions. A gore is formed above the channel and between the respective cup regions, adjoining the respective cup regions. A molded cradle is fitted into the channel. For each cup region, a tessellated encapsulating bra cup is fitted therein. Each tessellated encapsulating bra cup includes a plurality of tiles. Respective tiles in the plurality of tiles that are further away from the cradle are larger in size than respective tiles in the plurality of tiles that are closer to the cradle. Each tessellated encapsulating bra cup has a generally concave first inner face and a generally convex first outer face. The tessellated encapsulating bra cups collectively contribute cantilevered support to the bra.
ARTICLE OF CLOTHING AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
An article of clothing includes a first fabric layer having an inner surface and an outer surface. The article of clothing also includes a second fabric layer having an inner surface and an outer surface. The article of clothing further includes a silicone layer embedded with at least one of the inner surface of the first fabric layer and the inner surface of the second fabric layer, and thereby joining the first fabric layer and the second fabric layer. The article of clothing includes a first zone of a first thickness and a second zone of a second thickness. The first thickness is greater than the second thickness, and the first zone is disposed along an edge of the article of clothing while the second zone is disposed further away from the edge than the first zone.
ITEM OF CLOTHING AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
An article of clothing and a method of manufacturing thereof are disclosed. The article of clothing comprises a pair of brassiere cups and a pair of frames. Each frame further comprises a bottom member attachable to an underwire of a respective one of the brassiere cups; at least one first projection which originates from the lower member and extends beyond the upper member; at least one second projection which extends from the lower member and extends beyond the upper member. The at least one second projection is closer than the at least one first projection to an underarm region of the respective one of the brassiere cups.
SUPPORTING GARMENT ARTICLE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING A SUPPORTING GARMENT ARTICLE
A supporting garment article such as a brassiere comprises a layer of elastomer provided in a graduating manner such that the area density of the elastomer vanes across a first region of the garment article. Supporting garment articles of the present disclosure provide the support of a constructed bra while maintaining the comfort factor of an unconstructed bra such as a bralette. The present disclosure provides a superior medium support bra using graduated application of an elastomer such as silicone, bonding, extrusion and dry moulding techniques.
Undergarment receiving a thin intermediate bonding layer between two textiles prior to thermoforming
A process for manufacturing an undergarment having two superimposed textiles, comprising depositing on certain parts of reinforcements (8) comprising a thick layer of a shaped memory foam elastic material, the polymerization of this material and also the shaping of the textiles of the undergarment by thermoforming, characterized in that it comprises a step of depositing, on the entire surface of at least the textiles, a thin layer of an elastic adhesive-bonding material, and then a step of polymerizing this thin layer of adhesive bonding during the thermoforming for shaping, and in that it comprises a step of prior depositing, on the textile receiving the layer of reinforcement (8), of a barrier layer of an elastic material, which is polymerized before the depositing of this reinforcement.
SINGLE LAYERED GARMENT FABRIC
Various textile materials and method of manufacturing the same are provide. A method of single layer garment includes providing a single layer of textile material with low melt yarn. The method also includes forming the structure of the single layer of textile 5 material using selective heating to provide material support. The textile material are formed via at least one of a molding machine or a robotic hot air machine.
UNDER-SUPPORT AND MOLDED BRA CUP
The present disclosure provides for an under-support, which includes curved end portions and a support portion extending between the curved end portion. The support portion includes a plurality of openings. The present disclosure further provides for the under-support embedded in a foam cup. When the disclosed under-support is embedded in a foam cup, the foam extends through the openings in the support portion.
Method for manufacturing an article of underwear such as bra
A method of manufacturing a bra, comprising providing a first fabric layer as an outer layer, a second fabric layer as an inner layer, and a material made of thermo-adhesive polyurethane film that joins elements between the two fabric layers in a finished bra; sprinkling the first fabric layer on a side facing the second fabric layer with a reactive hotmelt polyurethane glue, which is reactivated only once; applying the thermo-adhesive polyurethane film on a side of the second fabric layer facing the first fabric layer; superimposing the two fabric layers such that the side of the first fabric layer covered with the glue faces the second layer and the thermo-adhesive polyurethane film portions applied to the second fabric layer face the first fabric layer; joining the two layers by hot-pressing with the thermo-adhesive polyurethane film portions, and reactivating the polyurethane glue to become temporarily in a liquid phase and triggering a cross-linking process causing the glue to solidify permanently.
Systems and methods for making garments
A system for making a garment includes a molding body configured to exhibit different heat profiles when contacting a continuous piece of fabric. The different heat profiles cause asymmetrical and/or eccentric deformations of the continuous piece of fabric.
