An apparatus and system for facilitating breast milk pumping and breastfeeding in a discreet and comfortable manner. The apparatus including a bandeau provided within a covering shirt. The bandeau can include a pair of apertures corresponding in location to a wearer's nipples which provide access through the bandeau to the wearer's nipples for pumping purposes. Further, the bandeau and covering shirt being formed of a resilient material for exposing one or both breasts, or alternatively uncovering only the bandeau.

The present invention concerns an improved article of clothing for nursing, with features that enhance the user's ability to selectively and controllably expose one or both breasts while simultaneously presenting a more secure and stylish look, both when in use and when not in use. The invention allows for individual or dual breast access in a non-obvious form that can provide as much breast coverage as the mother feels comfortable with. A funnel support accessory attaches to a breastfeeding garment, such as a nursing bra, to support a funnel of a breast pumping system at a nipple area of the wearer's breast, so as to generally conceal the wearer's breasts and allow the wearer to perform other tasks while pumping in a hands-free manner. The funnel support accessory includes a fabric panel having at least one central opening configured to engage the funnel of the breast pumping system. The funnel support accessory also includes an engagement element disposed at an upper portion of the fabric panel to attach to an attachment feature of a breastfeeding garment. The fabric panel supports the engaged funnel of the breast pumping system generally over an exposed nipple area, such that the funnel seals against the nipple area without using a hand to support the funnel.

A nursing garment system to facilitate selective nursing and hands-free breastpumping having at least one connector configured to selectively connect a nursing bra to at least one of a hands-free breastpumping device, a nursing cover, and a breast cup of the system is disclosed. The at least one connector may include a closing device partially attached to each of the at least one of the hands-free breastpumping device, the nursing cover, and the breast cup of the system, the closing device configured to connect to a nursing bra closing device. Compression bands, garments and related methods are provided herein. More specifically, the subject matter disclosed herein relates to compression bands that can be used in compression garments that have multidimensional features and methods related to the compression bands and garments. The compression bands can comprise a supportive back portion having a first side end and a second side end and a front panel secured along side seams to the first and second ends of the supportive back portion that. Depending on the construction of the compression band and its use, support can be provided to portions of a body of a wearer.

Maternity garments are presented herein. The maternity garments are intended for use by pregnant women throughout the entirety of their pregnancy. In one exemplary arrangement, the maternity garments include a built-in support belt and a belly bump portion. The maternity garment may further include leggings. In some arrangements, the maternity garment is formed of light compression weaves in areas such as the baby bump area and the leggings area of the garment, while the areas around the periphery of the baby bump, as well as the back area of the garment are formed of slightly stronger compression weave so as to provide needed support and lift in these areas. Finally, the area associated with the middle of the back of the pregnant woman may be formed of an even stronger compression weave so as to provide even greater support in this area to deal with the troublesome soreness and pain often had by pregnant woman as the pregnancy progresses.

A sash comprising a pressure sensitive material which reacts to the movements of an unborn baby and causes the illumination of corresponding areas of the sash on the mother's abdomen in response to the movement of the baby. The sash includes a strip of fabric or material of a selected size and shape to cover a selected portion of the abdomen of an expectant mother containing the baby. Means of fastening such as a hook and loop fastener are combined with an elastic belt secure the sash around the mother's abdomen. The touch sensitive fabric reacts to movements of the baby and causes lights over the active area to be illuminated. The result is a light show for viewers showing the unborn baby's activity.

A breast milk absorbing system includes a nursing garment being that may be worn by a nursing female. The nursing garment has a pouch. An absorbing unit is provided. The absorbing unit is removably positioned within the pouch. The absorbing may absorb breast milk from the nursing female. Thus, the nursing garment is inhibited from becoming wet with the breast milk. The absorbing unit extends across an entire width of the pouch. Thus, the absorbing unit remains aligned with the nursing female's breasts.
