A garment includes a securing portion operable to removably secure the garment about an abdomen of a wearer; a sensor attachment portion pivotably attached to the securing portion, the sensor attachment portion including a sensor mount configured to receive and retain a sensor therein; and a sensor received in the flexible sensor mount; the securing portion and the sensor attachment portion being configured such that, when the securing portion is secured around the back of a wearer, the sensor attachment portion pivots with respect to the securing portion so as to self-position the sensor attachment portion across (a) an upper portion of the wearer's abdomen or (b) a lower portion of the wearer's abdomen; the flexible sensor mount being configured to orient a sensor received therein to be flush with skin of the wearer when the garment is worn by the wearer and to self-adjust during the course of pregnancy.

Targeted at hospital patients, the garment is versatile and adapts to the different stages of labor, medical interventions, and labor support techniques. LOWER BODY GARMENT FOR MATERNITY
A lower body garment has a pair of legs having an upper edge located below a wearer's pregnant belly and a waistband connected to the upper edge. The waistband has a front waistband portion that substantially covers the wearer's pregnant belly and a rear waistband portion that covers the wearer's sacroiliac joints, and which, together with the front waistband portion, encircles the wearer's torso. The rear waistband portion has a rear three-layer section having an inner layer of fabric contacting the wearer's skin, an outer layer of fabric facing outwardly from the wearer, and a middle layer of material between the inner and outer layers of fabric. The front waistband portion has a front three-layer section and a front section having no middle layer of material. Stretch, recovery, and/or modulus of the three-layer sections may be greater than the same properties of the section having no middle layer of material.
MATERNITY UNDERGARMENT FOR GENTLE SUPPORT AND SHAPE ENHANCEMENT
A maternity under garment specifically for use during pregnancy supports the weight of a developing fetus while not encroaching on the growth aspect. The maternity undergarment has a shape that helps keep the abdomen of the pregnant woman in place, which expands as the fetus grows therein. The abdomen area features three different thicknesses on the full abdomen area.
The bottom part of abdomen is a thick supportive fabric so it can hold the abdomen with the fetus therein. The section supporting the mid abdomen is lighter and less dense than that of the lower abdomen portion, because that will allow the woman's expanding abdomen to come out as the fetus grows, The top hemispheric part of the abdomen area has a thinner mesh material, that will allow the abdomen to fully come outward and upward, with no compression.

Maternal under garment
A garment for postnatal women for absorbing postpartum bleeding and providing soothing effects during post-partum recovery. The maternal under garment includes an exterior layer having a waist opening and a pair of leg openings. An interior layer overlaps the exterior layer along a front panel and a rear panel of the garment. An upper perimeter of the front panel includes a V-shape, wherein a nadir of the V-shape is centrally positioned on the front panel to comfortably rest below a stomach area of a woman. The maternal under garment includes an adjustable waist band to retract as the stomach area becomes smaller postpartum. Multiple layers are disposed between the interior and exterior layer, such as an absorbent layer for absorbing postpartum bleeding, a cooling layer for soothing genitals during postpartum recovery, and an antibacterial layer for assisting with pain relief and the healing process after birth.
GARMENT FOR ASSISTING HOLDING AN INFANT
A garment for assisting a user holding an infant is provided. The garment may include a first portion, a second portion, a first sleeve, and a second sleeve. The second portion may be configured to overlap the first portion when the garment is worn by the user. The first sleeve and the second sleeve may each extend from the first portion and the second portion, respectively. The first portion may define an elongated opening. The elongated opening may be positioned to provide access through the opening and to the infant from the outside of the garment while the first portion remains covered by the second portion. The garment may also include at least one fastener attached thereto. The at least one fastener may be positioned relative to the opening and may comprise at least one loop to secure at least part of a tubing or wire extending from the infant. The garment may also comprise a locking mechanism that can adjust the loop to the size of the tubing
