A self-closing surgical gown including an anterior panel; a posterior left panel connected to the anterior panel; a posterior right panel connected to the anterior panel; a left sleeve connected to the anterior panel and the posterior left panel; a right sleeve connected to the anterior panel and the posterior right panel; and a closure brace including at least one horizontal bar, the closure brace connected to the anterior panel, the posterior left panel and the posterior right panel, wherein the at least one horizontal bar is configured preloaded to transform from a substantially straight longitudinal configuration where the at least one horizontal bar has a cambered cross section perpendicular to a longitudinal direction into a curved longitudinal configuration where the at least one horizontal bar has a substantially straight cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction by pressing on a convex portion of the cambered cross section.

There is provided an apron according to one aspect. The apron includes a bib having a top and spaced-apart sides. The apron includes a first strap having a pair of spaced-apart ends which couple to and extend outwards from the top of the bib. The apron includes a second strap which couples to and extends between the sides of the bib. The apron includes a coupling member positioned between the sides of the bib. The coupling member slidably couples together the first strap and the second strap.

There is further provided a tie-free apron according to yet another aspect. The apron includes a bib having a top and spaced-apart sides. The apron includes a self-adjusting strap load equalizing system. The self-adjusting strap load equalizing system includes a neck-yoke strap, a back strap, and a coupling member which slidably couples together the straps.

An apron includes a skirt configured to hang down from the waist of a wearer, a resilient spring member secured to the skirt and configured to partly extend about a waist of the wearer to hold the skirt in place at the waist of the wearer, and at least one accessory removably secured to the skirt. The resilient spring member includes a ferromagnetic material and the at least one accessory has a magnet removably secured to the resilient spring member by magnetic attraction. This patent application describes a weighted, easily sanitized, pediatric dental garment that both shields children from biological fluids and helps them remain still during dental procedures. The garment is shaped like a traditional dental apron. Multiple layers comprise the garment; the outermost layers are made from vinyl or some other easily sanitized material. These layers are quilted into a plurality of cells. Each cell holds weighted disks or beads, which simulate a calming embrace. The garment also features a strap, straps, or pockets across the back, which the patient may hold and pull with varying degrees of force during the dental procedure to provide a stress outlet. These features help the patient to remain still and calm during the dental procedure.

A disposable salon cape assembly for inhibiting bacterial transmission between a barber and a patron includes a cape that can be worn around a patron in a salon. The cape is comprised of a biodegradable material such that the cape can be discarded and degrade after the cape is worn on the patron. Moreover, the cape has a fluid impermeable coating integrated thereon to inhibit bacterial transmission between a barber and the patron. A first mating member is coupled to the cape and a tab is coupled to and extends away from the cape. A second mating member is coupled to the tab and the second mating member is matable to the first mating member close the neck opening around the patron's neck.

An apron garment assembly includes an apron that is worn on a torso of a user, and the apron has a neck strap and a pair of waist straps. A waterproof garment worn around the waist that unrolls down the backside of the body providing a layer of protection against rain, mud, grass, and other elements, comprising: (i) a sleeve at the top of the material, in which a user slips a belt through the material so it can be worn around the waist by the user; and (ii) on both ends of the sleeve is a loop that is sewn part way up the material to prevent the belt from falling out, but still allowing it to move and be adjusted. A bib having a first layer of a filmic impermeable material on a front of the bib having a first body portion and upwardly extending flaps, a third layer of filmic impermeable material on a rear of the bib, where the first and third layers are joined at their perimeter edges, forming a shallow cavity. The bib has a neck ring. Below the neck ring, the shallow cavity has a top horizontal opening and a bottom horizontal opening in the first body portion. A second layer, which is an absorbent material, shaped into an adjustable loop, loops through the openings, the shallow cavity, and down the front of the bib. When the outer section of the loop becomes soiled, the soiled section can be rotated into the shallow cavity, simultaneously exposing an unsoiled section of the loop, providing a refreshed unsoiled outer section.

This presented invention relates to a Multi-Purpose Work and Gardening Garment which comprises of a protective apron and removable & height adjustable leg covers. The apron section of the invention has a plurality of pockets to enable the user to store tools and implements. The leg covers section of the invention having pockets to hold removeable knee pads and can be attached to the apron in multiple ways. With the leg covers attached to the apron, the invention is worn over the user's clothing and acts in a similar manner to a pair of chaps to protect the user's stomach area, upper legs, knees, shins and clothes. The leg covers position on the apron can be adjusted to better suit the user's height and thus make the invention more comfortable to use. Additionally, the leg covers can be removed so the apron can be worn as a standalone garment.
