An upper garment dresser for providing automatic or tele-controlled upper garment dressing of a patient, said upper garment dresser includes: means for picking up an upper garment from a default position, means for positioning a back portion of the upper garment behind a patient's back, and means for positioning a front portion of the upper garment in front of the patient; whereby during dressing, an upper body of the patient is pulled forward to expose the back and upright to expose the front; and whereby during such movement backwards and forwards, the upper garment can be flipped over the head of the patient, and its back and front parts secured together.

A medical garment for a patient includes a front garment panel having a front garment fastener assembly and a rear garment panel operatively associated with the front garment panel. The rear garment panel has a rear garment fastener assembly operatively adapted for detachable attachment to the front garment fastener assembly so as to secure the front garment panel to the rear garment panel. The medical garment further includes a bag adapted to hold medical equipment attached to the patient. The bag includes a first bag fastener assembly and a second bag fastener assembly. The first bag fastener assembly is operatively adapted for detachable attachment to the front garment fastener assembly and the second bag fastener assembly is operatively adapted for detachable attachment to the rear garment fastener assembly to secure the bag between the front garment panel and the rear garment panel.

An immobilizing sleep garment assembly includes a vest is wearable on a user when the user is recovering from shoulder surgery. A plurality of chest mating members is each vertically oriented on the vest. A plurality of first straps is each disposed on the vest and a plurality of second straps is each of the second straps is disposed on the vest. Each of the first straps is releasably matable to a respective one of the second straps to secure the vest around the user's upper torso. A glove is provided that can be worn on a respective one of the user's hands. A non-gender specific article of clothing worn on the upper body of a human that is reversible, comprised in part of eco-friendly material, and has hidden compartments designed for the secure storage of medical devices or personal items. The article is comprised of two layers of partially recycled fabric that are affixed in a manner that allows either side of the garment to be worn facing outward or in direct contact with the body. The layers are affixed at specific attachment points and by seams that create portions in between the layers that may be accessed from any location across the top perimeter edges of the garment including the neckline and armholes. The portions are engineered to limit movement of items stowed as well as permit transfer of items from one portion to another without removing the items from the article of clothing.

The present invention is garments, articles of clothing, and body equipment systems having a bladder system for providing better fit of garments, articles of clothing, and body equipment systems to certain applicable body part(s) or area(s) of a user during use, and for providing greater support, comfort and/or stability to certain applicable body part(s) or area(s) of a user during use. As a non-limiting example, the present invention is compression garments having a clothing component and a bladder system, compression articles of clothing having a clothing component and a bladder system, and also to compression body equipment systems having a bladder system for providing better fit of compression garments, compression articles of clothing, and compression body equipment systems to certain applicable body part(s) or area(s) of a user during use, and for providing greater support, comfort and/or stability to certain applicable body part(s) or area(s) of a user during use.

One or more embodiments of the disclosure include a medical garment for exposing a person's upper torso and a method of making the garment. The garment can resemble a shirt, in that sleeves may extend to about the elbows or wrists, the garment may extend down to the waist, and other than one or more flaps configured to open to expose an upper torso the medical garment is substantially free of openings. The garment may include a body with a front portion attached to a back portion by non-partable seams. The sleeves can be coupled to the front and back portions. The flap(s) may include a partable seam that extends from a top portion of the body toward but not substantially beyond a bottom part of the sleeves where they attach to the body. The flap(s) may also include a fastener to hold the partable seam in a closed position.

A garment for assisting a user holding an infant is provided. The garment may include a first portion, a second portion, a first sleeve, and a second sleeve. The second portion may be configured to overlap the first portion when the garment is worn by the user. The first sleeve and the second sleeve may each extend from the first portion and the second portion, respectively. The first portion may define an elongated opening.
