A tubular sleeve that fits snuggly on a user's finger and is designed to publicize a theme, logo, school, sport, interest, message, or for some other purpose and is worn on a finger of a user in a manner that does not interfere with the use of a hand or finger, is easily stored, and can be used to express an interest, a desire, a preference, or to show support.
SPORTING GOODS IDENTIFICATION BAND
An apparatus and method to apply an identification marking patch to the wrist strap of a baseball glove. The invention described here allows for temporary identification and marking on baseball gloves by a removable applicator band that connects to the glove. This results in countless customization options that does not permanently mark a player's name or design on the glove. Aside from changing markings, the user can also remove the applicator entirely, thus bringing the glove back to its original state without compromising the leather.
Safety glove with fingertip protective member
A safety glove having a protective member or insert extending around the fingertip of the safety glove is provided. The protective member may be positioned along the outer surface or the inner surface of the glove. Alternatively, the protective member may be integrally formed between two layers of glove material. The protective member terminates distally from an interphalangeal joint line to enable finger flexion in order to grasp an item, such as a slab of meat to be deskinned in a skinning machine. The glove may include a rough outer surface formed from thrice dipping the glove and allowing the glove to cure. Additionally, the glove may have a width near the wrist that is wider than the width near the palm to enable the glove to be rapidly removed (i.e., doffed) in an emergency event of the glove getting caught in a rotating blade on the skinning machine.
GOLF GLOVE
A golf glove with marking areas provided on an outer surface of the hand and on an inner surface of the hand has three markings, wherein a first marking is provided on the outer surface of the hand in the metacarpal region, wherein a second marking is provided on the outer surface of the hand, and wherein a third marking is provided on the inner surface of the hand.
FIVE FINGER FOAM ADJUSTABLE HAND
A foam hand is provided with the fingers and thumb extended outwardly in an open hand gesture. The hand includes a plurality of openings or slots into which the fingers and thumb can be selectively inserted for retention, and thereby configure the hand in multiple gestures. The base of the hand includes a slot or pocket into which a user can insert his/her hand so as to wear the foam hand over their own hand.
Disposable Glove-Like Device
Provided is a disposable glove sack or disposible glove-like device for handling and securing an article for disposable. The glove sack comprises a glove portion, a wrist portion, a sleeve portion or a flared sleeve portion and a securing means, such as flaps. Optionally, the glove sack may comprise an embossment. An opening at a distal end of the sleeve portion forms a cavity in combination with the glove, wrist and sleeve portions into which a hand is insertable. The glove, wrist and sleeve portions form an outer surface on which to receive an article. Upon eversion the outer surface bounds a receptacle containing the article.
SMARTPHONE GLOVES
The present invention discloses a glove that allows operating an electronic device having a touch interface while wearing the glove. The glove comprises a glove body and digits coupled to the glove body. At least one of the digits comprises a removably coupled sleeve or cap adapted to cover the tip of thumb and/or finger. Removing of the sleeve exposes the thumb or fingertip for operating the touch interface of electronic device. The invention is advantageous allowing use of naked finger and/or thumb tips while wearing the glove for interacting with touch interface or registering thumb or fingerprints for biometric identification.
Articles and Components with UV Radiation Curable Elastomeric Materials and Methods of Making the Same
A method of manufacturing an article that includes providing an element formed of an elastomeric material or composite; placing the surface of the element in contact with a substrate; and affixing the element to the substrate. The element includes an uncured, partially cured, or fully cured UV radiation curable elastomeric material and optionally one or more regions of an adhesive material. The element is affixed to the substrate while the surface of the element is in contact with a surface of the substrate by increasing a temperature of at least a portion of the element, applying pressure to at least a portion of the element, or exposing the uncured or partially cured UV radiation curable material to UV radiation in an amount and for a duration of time that is sufficient to partially cure the uncured material or to fully cure the partially cured material.
HYBRID MITTEN-GLOVE WITH INDEX FINGER SHEATH
A hybrid mitten-glove with a thumb sheath, index finger sheath and a four-finger sheath, in combination with an outer enclosing mitten, the invention being operable to keep all fingers covered, hence warm and dry, during use while providing finger dexterity to perform tasks.
