Ambidextrous glove having widened glove body and method of producing the same
A reusable glove for meat processing plants that is able to be easily donned and doffed, and worn over a liner. A thumb crotch is defined between first sides of the glove's index finger region and thumb region. An imaginary first plane extends generally along the index finger region's first side, beyond the thumb crotch, and through the thumb region. An imaginary second plane oriented at right angles to the first plane extends along a narrowest width of the glove's wrist region and intersects the first plane at an intersection region. An imaginary third plane oriented parallel to the first plane and at right angles to the second plane, passes through narrowest width of the wrist region, and intersects the side of the wrist region at a transition region. The transition region is located outwardly beyond the intersection region and vertically below the thumb crotch.
Apparatus, systems, and methods for sealing an interface
A protective guard is provided for sealing an interface. The protective guard includes a body having a fluid impervious material and proximal and distal segments that may comprise a superabsorbent or a non-superabsorbent material. The proximal and distal segments are positioned on first and second sides, respectively, of the interface. The protective guard extends about the interface to create a fluid barrier. In some embodiments, the non-superabsorbent material may be an elastic material, such as an elastic band, and in particular embodiments, the non-superabsorbent material may be nitrile. In further embodiments, the non-superabsorbent material may be an expandable material that expands upon contact or interaction with a fluid.
FLUID MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A fluid management system includes a sleeve member having a first end, a second end, an interior surface, and an exterior surface. The first end of the sleeve member is proximate a distal end of the gown sleeve and the second end extends inside of the distal end of the gown sleeve. A portion of the exterior surface of the sleeve member proximate the second end is in contact with a portion of an interior surface of the gown sleeve. There is a cuff member having a first end, a second end, an interior surface, and an exterior surface. The interior surface faces and is moveable with respect to portions of the exterior surface of the sleeve member/gown sleeve to enable the insertion of a cuff ring of the protective glove between interior surface of the cuff member and the exterior surface of one of the sleeve member/gown sleeve.
Glove attachment system
A glove attachment system that includes a hollow frustoconical inner member having a plurality of ribs and a plurality of grooves disposed on an external surface of the hollow frustoconical inner member, and a sealing collar for joining gloves to sleeves is disclosed, wherein the plurality of ribs and the plurality of grooves of the hollow frustoconical inner member and the plurality of ribs and a plurality of grooves of the sealing collar are configured to mate and releasably join a sleeve and a glove that are radially compressed between the plurality of ribs and the plurality of grooves of the hollow frustoconical member and the plurality of ribs and the plurality of grooves of the sealing collar, and wherein the sleeve and the glove are separately formed and extend in opposite directions.
Glove structure
In the present disclosure, a piece is disposed on a glove core of a glove structure, and an edge of the piece is to injected and filled with molding material to have an injection molding assembly thereon. The injection molding assembly at least fills a section gap between the glove core and the edge of the piece. By using the injection molding assembly, the section gap between the glove core and the edge of the piece is masked, and an adhesive effect for bonding the piece is also obtained. Thus, the present disclosure provides positive and reliable means for preventing the edge of the piece from being separated from the glove core, making the glove structure maintain its required function in long term, increasing the quality and the lifetime of the glove structure, and making the glove structure have a curved surface shape to present its three-dimensional shape.
A glove attachment system that includes a hollow frustoconical inner member having a plurality of ribs and a plurality of grooves disposed on an external surface of the hollow frustoconical inner member, and a sealing collar for joining gloves to sleeves is disclosed.

GARMENT WITH SLEEVES AND INTEGRATED GLOVES
A garment including a body portion, left and right sleeve portions, and integrated left and right handwear portions is provided. A left handwear portion is integrated with a left sleeve portion forming a left sleeve-handwear combination, and a right handwear is integrated with a right sleeve portion forming a right sleeve-handwear combination. The left sleeve-handwear combination includes a sealable opening located near the distal end of the left sleeve portion and the small-finger side of the left handwear, and the right sleeve-handwear combination includes a sealable opening located near the distal end of the right sleeve portion and the right small-finger side of the right handwear. The sealable openings, when open, enable the wearer to remove his/her hands from the sleeve-handwear combinations, and when sealed, prevent outside elements from entering the sleeve-handwear combinations. The handwear may include gloves or mittens, and the garment may include a jacket, a pullover, or other types of garments. The garment also may include left and right side pockets, left and right breast pocket, a hood, a face mask, a crewneck, and/or a turtleneck.
