Waistband with support panel
Aspects herein relate to a waistband construct designed to provide support to a torso area of a wearer and more specifically, a mid to lower torso area of a human wearer, (i.e. a pelvic area of a wearer). The waistband construct in accordance herein may have a multiple modulus of elasticity construction with at least one variation in modulus of elasticity along a circumference of the waistband construct. For example, the waistband construct in accordance with aspects herein may have a first portion having a first modulus of elasticity and a second portion having a second modulus of elasticity, where at least the portion having the higher modulus of elasticity may have a multiple layer construction for providing an effective support mechanism to at least a portion of the mid to lower torso area of the wearer.
UPPER BODY GARMENT
An upper body garment prevents a wearer from moving a shoulder forward to put an arm in front of the trunk. The upper body of the garment has a body with a left sleeve and a right sleeve. The body includes a rear body with a left armhole on the left side and a right armhole on the right side. A portion between the armholes exerts a tensile force to pull the shoulder blades of a wearer horizontally inward. The left sleeve includes a rear surface with a left sewn portion sewn to the left armhole. The left sewn portion is narrower in horizontal width than the deepest portion of the left armhole before a rear surface of an upper end of the left sleeve is sewed to the left armhole. The right sleeve is similar.
Compression fabrics with tailored comfort
Certain embodiments according to the invention provide compression articles suitable for a wide variety of uses (e.g., compression socks, athletic garments, etc.). In accordance with certain embodiments, the compression article includes at least two uniform compression regions, including a first uniform compression region having a first compression pressure and a second uniform compression region having a second compression pressure, and at least one transitioning compression region, including a first transitioning compression region positioned between the first and second uniform compression regions. The first transitioning compression region comprises a first end adjacent or proximate to the first uniform compression region and a second end adjacent or proximate to the second uniform compression region. The first transitioning compression region comprises a compression pressure gradient extending from the first end to the second end of the first transitioning compression region.
MULTI-LAYER SWIMWEAR FITMENT APPARATUS
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a garment having adjustable closure modules to reduce unwanted exposure. In an illustrative example, a continuous one-piece swimsuit may include at least one distributed tension closure system (DTCS) at each side of the swimsuit. The DTCS, for example, may include an elastic layer disposed underneath a longitudinally adjustable tension member coupled to opposing lateral edges of the DTCS. For example, when the swimsuit is donned by a wearer and lengths of the adjustable tension members are individually adjusted to a corresponding desired tension, each adjustable tension members urges the opposing lateral edges together by the corresponding desired tension such that an aperture of the hip openings is adjusted to reduce unwanted exposure of a body of the wearer. Various embodiments may advantageously provide modest fittings while maintaining a substantially smooth layer fitting comfortably to the wearer.
Compression Vest Systems Having Bladders
A vest includes a first panel including a first flap, a second panel including a second flap, a back panel extending from the first panel to the second panel, and a plurality of grips. The back panel defines a first and second arm accesses with first and second panels respectively, and portions of the first, second, and back panels disposed below first and second arm accesses define a body of the vest. The first flap is configured to overlap the second flap. The first flap includes a first front attachment segment configured to attach to a second front attachment segment of the second flap in a closed state of the vest. At least one embodiment or aspect may comprise at least one of the following features: at least one zipper expansion and retraction mechanism; and a leg attachment device for detachably securing a compression vest system to a user's leg.
Calf muscle enhancement pad
A calf muscle enhancement pad; the calf muscle enhancement pad includes a pad with a body having a concave first-side and a second-side opposing the first-side. The first-side includes an adhesive layer for removably securing the pad to a calf portion of a leg of a user-wearer. The adhesive layer may include a pressure-sensitive adhesive. The pad further includes a removable cover for concealing the adhesive layer before use. The second-side includes a calf-muscle-like extension having a profile of a sculpted calf muscle for enhancing a natural appearance of the calf portion and overall leg of the user-wearer during wear.
Padded Cycling Shorts Optimized for Wear Throughout All Stages of Pregnancy
The present invention discloses cyclist trousers made from elasticized material and equipped with a protection pad extending both anteriorly and posteriorly past the area intended to rest on the saddle. The trousers of the present invention also comprise fabric capable of containing and supporting a pregnant woman's expanded abdominal region throughout all stages of gestation. Such trousers would enable a pregnant woman to comfortably experience the benefits of exercise throughout the duration of her pregnancy.
Upper body of garment
An upper body of a garment prevents a wearer from moving a shoulder forward to put an arm in front of the trunk.
Garment incorporating waterproof or water resilient aqueous polyurethane dispersions and/or having altered stress profile
Articles, such as garments, including films comprising dried aqueous polyurethane dispersions are disclosed, whereby the garment has an altered stress which is exhibited during wear of the garment and/or has one or more sections of waterproof or water-resilient fabric. The film may be bonded to the fabric of the article to provide a fabric or film laminate.
CHEST BINDER
A chest binder that includes limited stretch regions that allow for binding of breast tissue and flexible regions that enhance wearer comfort. A torso of the binder is formed from a flexible first layer of fabric to define an inner space for the body of a wearer. A limited stretch second layer of fabric is adhered to at least a portion of the torso proximate to any breast tissue of the wearer. A pair of straps are connected at one end to the torso and extend laterally about the torso so that the opposing ends of the straps may be releasably attached to the torso to selectively narrow or widen the inner space.
